Thank you so much for uploading this video. It saved me $759, this is exactly what Nissan asked me to pay here in Sydney, plus 2-day wait to get a new locker from Melbourne. I declined it and I am sooooo glad I did. The problem with my locker was a tiny piece of plastic that stuck inside preventing the motor from spinning. As soon as I got it out, everything started to work as expected. NISSAN Service didn't even investigate what the problem was. I am so happy I stumbled across your video. Thank you once again!!! All the best to you and your family!
Thanks! This video helped me get the boot of my dualis opened after it jammed and possiblely fix it enough to suffice until i can afford to get the mechanism replaced.
Do you have a video with instructions on how to remove and replace the locking mechanism from a Nissan dualis j10 2013 or similar? Mine stopped working the other day and I'm trying to work out if I can fix it or replace it myself or if i should take it to the mechanic. I've been looking for instructions online with no luck so far
Hi hi sir I have the same problem and I've checked the motor and clean the connections it's working properly but when I reconnect it it doesn't work and the boot light is working but the boot doesn't it's like there's no power in the boot switch or maybe it's the fuse ?
Hi I have the same problem, After investigating the issue, I have found that I am only getting about 9 volts to the latch motor. Is this normal? Thanks.
Are you probing with the trunk release button pressed or not..? It's typical for some systems to have a voltage leak even when the button isn't pressed and this may be what's happening in your case. I have no details about your vehicle so may be hesitant to comment on the real reason why.. :)

Hey, how did you clean out the water ingress from the socket? I have tried googling, but I can't find a good way to do it...

Ive tried to light a 12v light bulb to test it but dont even get a dull light. Im really confused.
Thank you.
Are the inputs into the motor (2 of those terminals at 12V) I only get about 3-5V when I probe the harness from car side
