Thanks for a great video! An extra tip for anyone coming here - make sure to clean the back door seal with soap and a rough sponge. This prevents the stickiness and puts less pressure on the plastic. Nissan, if you’re reading this - v stupid design!
An easier repair is to drill one or two holes in the tailgate ( replacing one or two of the original screws) , pass screws through them and screw them from inside of the tailgate with appropiate nuts.
It's not glue ! The liquid supplied is Acetone .. which actually partially melts the plastic . That's why the bond is SO strong . Click on the Ebay link in a comment below ....and there is a video on the suppliers website which explains everything . Between their video and this one .. it's a relatively easy job. A 10mm socket on a hinged socet holder is helpful though .
