17 is not a child 🤨 I left school at 16 and started full time work 3 days later. We were young adults, not kids, and we were way more grown up compared to the youth of today. My mum started work just after she turned 16, when I was younger children could leave school at the end of the year they turned 15 and start work, so many of them were still 14. People now stay in school for so long (and I include university in that) that they're still really immature at 21.

17 is not a child 🤨 I left school at 16 and started full time work 3 days later. We were young adults, not kids, and we were way more grown up compared to the youth of today. Sparing the rod and spoiling the child is why we are living in this over liberalised world now. Bring back the old ways when kids had respect please 😢
My mum started work just after she turned 16, when I was younger children could leave school at the end of the year they turned 15 and start work, so many of them were still 14. People now stay in school for so long (and I include university in that) that they're still really immature at 21.
