Ray, i'm very thankful for your labour and video's of it. It has moved me (a dutch men) to where i am today (from a life without God (not even my parents believe) to sundayschool teacher and searching the scriptures day and night)!!! 🕊️❤️😇 I'm just wondering about some things. I have converted to Christ after years of searching the scriptures. Yet, i do not understand fully what the follow up thing is... For we are saved of course for a cause. Not to just stay alive until we die. I just don't know completly what it is. I know it has something to do with the kingdom of God. I mean Jesus spoke about it all the time. I just don't understand it and cannot find anybody to explain it to me. Can you recommend something or somewhere to learn? And is there a reason why you do not speak about the kingdom in your evangelisme?
As someone who has tried both ways, I can confirm beyond a shadow of a doubt that submitting to my husband and allowing him to lead, whilst submitting to Christ simultaneously, has made an amazing difference in my life and marriage. My husband has become a better father (who definitely shows me he loves me as Christ loves the church) he has returned to Christ wholeheartedly, our children are better, we both put eachother first now, it has literally changed our lives in unimaginable ways. God is so good, and His ways are perfect. 🙏😆
Amen brother I remember washing my wife's feet when she got really sick and had seizures and couldn't take care of herself and I was happy to help because of LOVE through all my struggles in life God has shown me how true and faithful he is 🙏💝📖
Thank you! The Lord has taught me alot ever since I was saved I'm far from perfect but He is working on me, now that I just had surgery my wife is taking care of me thank God 🙏💝📖😌 I have had a cyst that formed in 2018 and been a thorn in my butt for all these years and hope to heal and be able to be a better man for God and my family 😃

@@jpix96 The Bible does not legitimately teach that going to Heaven is the Christian's reward. Christ Himself stated in Jhn 3:13 that NOBODY except Himself was ever going to Heaven, but it doesn't stop adherents of traditional Christianity from misquoting pet passages. Dan. 7, Rev. 1, Rev. 5, Rev. 2, and Matt. 5 all teach that Christians will rule this world with Christ when He returns. Heaven is coming here, not the other way around.

@RichardMizenko And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. 6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. 7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. 8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. - Revelation 21 1-8 -
The problem in a lot of marriages is the man or woman wants to be served instead of serve. They want to be loved, but don't want to love first. Selfishness is the root of most problems in any relationship. How many people who became chronically ill lost all their friends for example? They wanted the love of that person and the help, they wanted to receive, but when push came to shove, they did not want to give love (back). Love your neighbour as yourself, do that and you will love yourself more because of it and others will love you more too.
I have been thinking of love as unconditional self sacrifice (as that is certainly what Jesus did), so you make such a great point here. If it's unconditional, choose to serve, even if the other hasn't. Focus on what you can do for others and let God take care of everything else. I am not going to pretend I am good at this, but I can confirm from personal experience that God has failed never to have my back when i was focusing on serving others.
One of the best ways to understand submission is to understand that the family is not purposeless. Submission feels unimportant on a team thats going nowhere, has no goals, and accomplishes nothing. The husband sets that vision for the home. The primary purpose of the home is to raise children, and to be producers not consumers. The husband may set other goals too.
1 Peter 3:4 KJV - But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
Men need to be the authority in the household. For me, I was to teach the family through bible study and prayer. My wife made sure I followed through on this, which was awesome!
0:25 “The wife has changed on your watch.” A fine attempt to guilt a husband who has seen his wife become aggressively combative, totally masculinized, and boorishly disrespectful as a result of being influenced by feminism in the workplace (she’s a nurse) and on social media. When a woman arrives at a place where she is no longer willing to submit to God, it is without question that she will be even more unsubmissive when an added layer of subordination - her husband - is added. What a lot of Christians fail to realize is that a “modern woman” - who demands supremacy within the family structure - has opted out of God’s design. Offering to “love her back into the fold” only registers as perceived weakness to the feminist mind, whose concept of relationships is in terms as a power dynamic. This insubordination wasn’t evident when we married 35 years ago. It was acquired. How bad is it now? For example, when I was concerned that her belief system had wandered dangerously close to being “works based”, her reply was simply: “Well, when I stand before God, I’ll handle it”, she said with arms crossed defiantly. Bottom line: a woman who will not submit to God, will neither submit to a husband.
@@BornAgainCarnivore Agreed. Marriage is treated so cavalierly today, when in fact it’s a Covenant made with God, concerning two people. It cannot be rescinded except by death. Sadly, our marriage has mirrored the marriage of her parents, to a point: rampant emasculation , the evaporation of any and all forms of intimacy (including kissing) - which she finds distasteful. All of this I believe was due to her being the victim of sexual abuse by the father. SMH But the bottom line is that life is short; eternity is long; I choose to maintain an eternal Perspective and honor my covenant before the Lord
When your married you need to remember 1st Corinthians chp 13 the love chp. Love is kind. Love doesnt keep a record of wrongs. You have to forgive. I've been married soon May 5th of this yr for 24 yrs. If my husband gets grouchy because he feels bad, I pray God convict him and then later he apologizes. Sometiimes he forgets the attitude he had earlier. Love covers a multitude of sins. He covers me with love too.
Do not laugh at others lack of knowledge. KJV MATTHEW 7 1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. 3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? 5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

Wow, what a video! I pray and hope that the young and old women who are lost and are anxious in their life today may be able to see this video-to help them in their needs, especially to married ones.
In one of her videos, martha peace says that her husband and his male friends surrounded her and pressured her into writing a book when she didn't want to write a book. Do you think men should behave like that towards their wife? In the past, men forbade women from writing books but now they are getting their male friends to surround their wives and pressure them into writing books. Why are women allowed to write books now? Do you think these men should get church disciplined for getting a woman to write a book?
@trss8674 First. It is not a sin for a woman to write a book. Second. In her acknowledgments, her first paragraph reads " I believe that the Lord gave me a desire to write this book. Then he gave me people to help me. One of those people is my husband, Stanford. I had been talking about writing a book for quite a while. He told me to stop talking about, it prioritize my life, and write the book! Since he wasn't asking me to sin, I had to do it. Stanford didn't just tell me to write, it he helped me. He is my computer person and my comforter when I am discouraged. He loves me and believes from the beginning that God wanted me to persevere in this project. He was wonderful throughout the process". Maybe you misunderstood her or she was joking and you took it seriously.
God bless her, may she find the peace and freedom in Christ. The Bible is truly His love of His truth left for us. Praise our Lord Jesus Christ 🙌🙏🏽✝️🧎🏽♀️❤️
I get so emotional watching this. I have allowed myself to be non existent tbh with relationships that were wrong and sinful. I took the worldly version of submission to the extreme and allowed myself to be abused. The Lord is having to completely rebuild me it feels like. I'm so grieved in this area. I am married but separated and currently living in a very abusive relationship spiritually & mentally. I haven't been rainbows and sunshine for sure but I took the brunt of everything while trying to seek the Lord in a lukewarm state. My eyes have been opened and I'm turning from all sin and back to the Lord. Very sobering, very humbling. That's true. I want to take care of my children. I don't know anything else. I'm seeking the Lord and I need full restoration in my home. I need a miracle rn. I want to go home and I want to go home. 😢

Correct, it starts with telling people into the church to submit on to another. Then it goes on to address wife to husband and references back to the submission in the church, which should tell us a lot about what submission actually means in this verse. As the video pointed out, women are not slaves, and we can see that as we obviously aren't suppose to act as slaves to everyone else in the church.
Women were made to be the helper of men. His servant and subservient to him. She is his subordinate because she doesn’t share Gods image like men. That is what the created order means. Men were made to be Gods image and glory. Women were made to be man’s glory. That is why women are supposed to cover their heads when they pray and are to remain silent in church for it is shameful for a woman to speak in church. A woman’s role is inferior because she was made to be inferior. Husbands live with your wives in an understanding way as she is the weaker vessel. However, when women die she will be one with Christ just like her brothers. Can a women accept Christ without having to talk to a man first seeing she has less of His image? Or is that what the covering is for? Then it says in Timothy that women will be saved in childbearing and as long as she lives with a quiet and sober conduct. So, do women have to also work for salvation too because she bears less image of God? It’s very confusing. I don’t understand.
@@heathersnyder8789 that's not true. "God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them" Gen. 1:27.
@@Sundayschoolnetwork thank you for your quick response. I heard Genesis 1:27, but I was told the created man in his image. In His image He created he him. Male and female He created them. The female was after He created man. Trust me I want to be made in His image fully like man, but then it doesn’t explain the created order and the limitations to all women of all time due to the created order. It must mean women bear less of His image. Husbands represent Christ and wife the church which must mean women were made inferior and bear less image. I dare say no image but then women couldn’t be co-heirs in Christ. It’s just very confusing. Thank you for your response. I am trying to understand.
@@heathersnyder8789 you're welcome. God created people in his image, male and female. There's no indication that women were less than Adam or subservient to Adam. That word "helper" is also used to describe God such as in Psalm 30:10. Adam and Eve sinned and broke that intimate relationship to God and one another. In Christ women and men are made whole. "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus" Galatians 3:28. You are not less! Yes, you are coheirs!
@@Number-sq5vm Men are responsible for their own disobedience, and women are responsible for their disobedience. God didn't tell us to submit only when we're being loved properly. Follow God, obey Him. There is never a reason to regret that choice.
Here's what I think as a man at 41 whose never been married but in the right situation I'd like to be; The bible says that wives are to submit to their husbands, to me that's a big responsibility as it should be. The bible also says (1 Peter 3-7) that I am to honor my wife. Sidebar: My formal first name is Timothy, which broken down means "Time of Thee", in other words to honor God. If I want to try and live up to my own name, I've got a lot of honoring to do. Good thing I'm saved by Grace and not by my own works! So the idea that some women will have to submit to me I do not take lightly, I in turn have to honor her. The beauty of a marriage is in it'a design. I can't just get my way all the time, I have to make decisions that benefit my wife, even if those decision make things difficult for me, basically I have to subdue my ego, I can't just go with my opinion like a secular man can. I personally would enjoy having an exclusive friend and helper in life (that's part of what a spouse is).

Thanks for this. Regarding the Christ-like love as well, I think we had a shadow of that in Hosea, with what he was commanded to do in seeking out and marrying Gomer. That strikes me as a shadow of the love Christ has for us, and the love that men ought to strive (by God's strength) to emulate.
Imo submitting goes both ways, marriage is having you're other half, best friend, loved one who wants whats best for you, as you want what's best for them. Its called true love, and not everyone marries into that, hence why theres so much divorce.
To any women offended by this, read the rest of the verse. It mentions Men should treat the church as Jesus does for his bride. Meaning giving his life. Not bad in comparison right? Haha😂
As a woman I know the part for men is even more difficult but the problem is no one harps on the man to love his wife like Christ did for the church by dying for her. Even my Nigerian with a large population of Christians ,society pays little heed to that…it is only the part of submitting Every one talks about thereby creating a huge imbalance in expectations. The most ridiculous part is American black men going on and on about submissive women considering that they abhor marriage, are not even Christians to begin with, have kids out of wedlock the most yet want women who are not their wives to submit to them..
@@ngoziokafor5682u right especially the third paragraph. They want the women to submit to them but they have not submitted to God and the woman hasn’t either. They want a blind person to follow them but they themselves are blind too. Smh

I would love to have been a stay at home mom. This world has made that difficult. Every time we turn away from the ways the Lord has set in place for us, we ruin what He wanted for us.
Womem have gotten a sad image of what it means to submit. *"Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.* *Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.* *For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.* *Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.* *Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;* *That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,* *That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.* *So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.* *For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:* *For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.* *For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh."* There is a reason the Lord made it this way.❤
Agree with what’s being said…..I’m a single man in my 50’s, I’ve been looking for a God-fearing woman….I know they exist, but I can’t find one….in or out of church…. my German shepherd is a good boy!
As a former wife, I totally agree with all of you. I just wanted to add, that most Christian women who are truly loved by their husbands and their needs are met, will do everything within their ability to please their husbands and make them happy, and believe the same with the husbands, that if they are truly loved, appreciated and respected, that they would do everything within their power and means to please their wives. It works both ways. I do agree that after discussions and opposite opinions, that the final decision is to be decided by the husband for the benefit of the home. None of us are perfect and sometimes wives must allow bad decisions to occur and still be supportive and encouraging towards husbands. There is one particular thing with women that men must accept and that is that the decor and furnishings inside the home must be agreeable to the wife in order for her to be happy within the financial budget, of course. Men need to allow their wives the arrangements of furniture, bedding, linens, kitchenware, bath accessories, wall fixtures, drapes, curtains. A wife takes pride in the appearance of her home and without that, she’s not happy. It’s something inside of us that can’t be quashed. Some of us are immaculate, perfectionists, messy, sloppy in the home, so men, choose your brides accordingly to what you prefer unless you can deal with whatever. Also, women absolutely hate picking up after their husbands and kiddos, just as men hate their wives being slobs. Most husbands will find this out very quickly. My husband hated my shoes left by the front door because my shoes were the first thing to come off because of my aching feet. I had to learn to put them away. We both had our things organized and kept in place, so our home was kept clean and everything in proper place. We never had to pick up after each other, accept for my work shoes. It was annoying to him, so I obliged him. Anyway, that’s all I wanted to add. You all sound like very good husbands and very loved and respected by your wives and it’s a great wonderful blessing to have that. God bless you all, your wives, and families, and this ministry. ✝️📖⛪️🙏😇👍
Ma'am, future bride, show this video to your husband and discuss it BEFORE you marry. Tell him this is the kind of marriage you want to, if it is. And get down to "brass tacks" before you make it legal. Be on the same page in your beliefs and wants. May your marriage be rich and last your lifetimes, joyfully.
@IronSharpensIron127 Well, if you don't live in society, then you are 100%. Unfortunately, if you have a "wife and kids" without marriage, then it makes it hard on them to be beneficiaries to anything you would have upon your death or dissolution of your marriage. If you love someone enough to live with them and say you have made a covenant to be their spouse, what is the disrespect you show by not doing that for your "spouse and kids" from that union?? Also, there has always been witnesses to 'vows' said and actions taken, like dowrys, for marriages from time immemorial. A man goes 100% of the way, not partially, and his duty and love of them should cause a man to want to protect them in every way. Have a good one, friend.
We both have a say in every major decision. She says her opinion, and share mine, then we come to terms on the what we will do. But ultimately I have the final say as the head. She respect my lead .

GOD made everything and it was good, but humans had made it into the sewer it is now; all I hear is self-preservation and me, me, me, me. What a sad reality we all live in
*Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;* *While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.* *Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;* *But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.* ❤ That last part is my favorite in this regard.

As a Bible believing Christian who has been with my wife for 23 years, she has no problem submitting to me as she sees me submitting to Christ daily. Advice to women, do not follow nor submit to a man who does not first follow and submit to The Lord.
Loved the first few seconds. I hate the notion that submission means some kind of puritanical decency and religious solemnity. The most truly submissive wives I have ever met are the most vibrant, the funniest, the most affectionate, and the most joyful women I've ever met. Why? Because they find their fulfillment in the reason God put them here. "Man was not made for woman, but woman for man." Like the video says - God's way works.
I have met submissive women who were funny, affectionate and somewhat joyful but were not vibrant as they were belittled, berated and ridiculed by their husband -causing a great deal of embarrassment around others and a deep sadness. It seems that many women who see this dynamic get a bad impression of submission.
I have stopped going to women only bible studies because it's depressing listening to the wives in the group talk about how sad they are because of the things their husbands are making them submit to. They are not funny, vibrant and affectionate. They are sad and in pain.
@@Daily_Bread84 I agree. Many women see husbands mistreat their wives and then teach submission. That kind tyrannical, hypocritical behavior is certainly a turn off.
@@trss8674 Im very sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, that is the result of abusive, tyrannical husbands who are not godly themselves, don't embrace scrutiny from other men, and subsequently don't love their wives like Christ loved the church at all. Men have ceased to be biblical men, which always results in oppressed women. I don't associate with men like that or go to churches where they get away with it, so the wives I know are full of life. Singing, dancing, and laughing are hallmarks of their homes and their fellowship. This is what should be normal, but strong men need to make other men strong before it can.
Because of feminism, I tried to force myself into roles I wasn’t comfortable in. I tried to force myself to become a career woman, but I’m just not. Doing this has caused severe depression and even made me suicidal and self-harming. But today, a few years later, now that I read the Bible and have pondered what submission means, it makes so much sense to me! I feel so much less pressure, like I don’t have to try so hard anymore. I prefer to be indoors(I’m an introvert with social anxiety)and the idea of taking care of children and educating them is very appealing to me. The role of a mother isn’t about sitting home and doing nothing, it’s a very intelligent role that not only requires extreme emotional maturity, but education, scheduling, making sure the kids have enough food, etc. It is a very hard job, but I’m determined to fulfill that role in the future!
No husband can lead a family unless his family knows how to follow. No husband is worthy enough to be the leader. A man can only lead by faith, not by right. No man loves his wife enough that he will deserve to be followed. Noah’s wife was an amazing woman.
Oh my goodness! You said that a woman is the mirror image of her husband? Wow! When I first married my husband 12 years ago, by the way I'm a Christian as of 5 years ago and he is not. So of course I have changed but before I became a Christian a Christian I was very strong mouth and strong-headed I guess, I could do it myself, I could do it myself I don't need anybody's help. The other night my husband told me that he's afraid of me. I was absolutely shocked and hurt by that comment and I said are you serious and he said yes sometimes I'm afraid of you. He knows I would never physically injure him LOL he just triggers me sometimes with ignorant Behavior unless he has started it and then I'm a fighter! It's a strange thing about it is when we were first married for years I was afraid of him because of his anger issues! So I agree with your statement can I change my husband's watch and then he looks at me he's looking at himself. So we are both afraid of each other that's just stupid and I told him we will be working on that and he agrees!
Before the 1900s, in most societies, only boys got an education. Girls were taught how to cook, sew, clean and tend to children. Knowledge is power. That's why the woman was subordinate, because she lacked knowledge beyond being a housewife and mother. With an educated wife, the husband now has an equally knowledgeable Partner. Each one should have the freedom to exercise their own strengths. Like an organization, there are separations of job duties and the one asdigned to do certain jobs is the one with the talent, knowledge and strength best suited to perform the duties of the job. A marriage, a family, is an organization. It is good for the CEO/President/Principal to have an Advisor/Vice President/Vice Principal.
They will now turn it into something else and say that they are supposed to submit to one another, as they probably believe there is no meaning of submit, as both must submit, equal in their mind. Yes, we are to submit to one another, yet we are not equal in submission in the Lord. In the Lord is key, why? Because everyone under God is given the part He wills and He wills that the man is the Head of the woman, and if married, in the home head of the wife, but if you do not submit to His will then you are not in Jesus, under Jesus but put yourself beside Him and must be humbled. Just as in the beginning, when God cast Adam and Eve out of His Rest, the Garden.
A great discussion... Guys!!! Very insightful and sensitive in the right, Christ-like way. Bravo!! I hope you include Ephesians 5:20, where Paul wrote "Submit to one another out oof reverence to Christ......." Here's my own slant or translation and perspective on that verse: We as husbands, and wives..... and even as single adults who are hoping to be successfully married some day, which is to Spiritually Discern who has the most Godly idea or response to whatever situation or problem is at hand and which needs to be solved. If the man appears to have the most Godly idea or response.... then it's up to both the husband and wife, or even the dating couple on a trajectory towards marriage, to go with that Godly solution. Equally, if it appears that the wife or woman's idea or response is closer to and a more Godly solution and frame of reference, then both people should ask The Holy Spirit to go with the woman's idea or response. It's a delicate "Dance" but if approached with Jesus-like love and humility and mature discernment, I believe that the best ideas and responses will rise to the surface and be recognized by both people. In a family setting, where growing and mature children are involved, they too can begin discerning God and Christ's and The Holy spirit's solution and attitude, but to live and practice this Godly "Mind and Heart-set," does require patience and unconditional love. 1 Corinthians 13:1-13 offers a tremendous "template" which can be gently and wisely applied in these situations. It isn't easy, but the required effort is definitely worthwhile..... Cheers, Ted Schempp, Nashville
If you want a wife in submission to you ... demonstrate that submission by YOUR submission to God. If my husband is truly submitting to God and following HIS word, allowing my husband to lead ME is an easy choice. If my husband is busy living in his OWN will it creates a lack of respect and a lack of TRUST in the decisions that he is making. Putting someone like THAT in charge of making family decisions is VERY difficult indeed.
On a Living Waters podcast, it was said that a person should not be surprised when their spouse commits adultery if they lived together before marriage. The person sent the message to their partner that sex outside of traditional marriage is acceptable. The Word of God says quite the opposite.
Lord, we pray for a conservative, God fearing, wisdom, financially stable, resourceful and family man that wants a wife with the same values. Lord, bring them together this year, in the name of Jesus Christ.
God wants you to be... the Bible (in the book of Proverbs) paints prostitutes/whores as loud boisterous and manly. Read it more fully in Proverbs 5, 6 & 7: "And behold, the woman meets him, dressed as a prostitute, wily of heart. She is LOUD and wayward; her feet do not stay at home; now in the street, now in the market, and at every corner she lies in wait. She seizes him and kisses him, and with bold face she says to him, “I had to offer sacrifices, and today I have paid my vows; so now I have come out to meet you, to seek you eagerly, and I have found you. I have spread my couch with coverings, colored linens from Egyptian linen; I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon. Come, let us take our fill of love till morning; let us delight ourselves with love. For my husband is not at home; he has gone on a long journey; he took a bag of money with him; at full moon he will come home.”
If I submitted to my husband, all hell would break loose. I'm the only one who is dedicated to Jesus. I hope, my husband will find the truth, too. Until then, I lead when it comes to family matters. Amd it's working well😊
Hello! He may be referring to Romans 13:1-14 and 1 Peter 2:13-17. Here is a small segment from both: Romans 13:1-14 - "Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God." (ESV) 1 Peter 2:13-17 - "Be subject for the Lord's sake to every human institution, whether it be to the emperor as supreme, or to governors as sent by him to punish those who do evil and to praise those who do good." (ESV) Please read the full passages to get the full meaning and context of both of them. I believe they are encouraging us to submit to the governing institutions that God has allowed to be in authority. Meaning we would submit to their commands so long as doing so would not cause us to disobey God's commands. Which is seen in Acts 5:29 which states: Acts 5:29 - "But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men."" (ESV) I hope this helps!
As a single Christian, I've never encountered one married Bible believing, born again Christian woman with a Bible believing, born again Christian husband, who was treated as or felt like a slave, where her husband lorded himself over her and didn't give her space to be herself, where she just seemed to be "the one who looks after his children" and "makes the food and keeps the house", where she had to keep quiet and keep out of the husband's business. However I've have seen this disfunction in Christian households where the couple has backslid, never go to church or don't run a Godly household. People who have this twisted view of gender rolls are not Christian and don't understand Christian obedience. In fact, I see this dysfunctional behavior more often in totally non-believing households. It's not a chore for Christian women, so please stop feeling sorry for us. We want to be subservient to God because we love Him and that automatically translates to the household. Without hierarchy, in any situation/context in the world, there is chaos. So why is it that a household that is run in a similar way, so bizarre to people? A household without proper authority is a cursed and lost one, and the children, more often than not, are the ones who suffer the most. The Bible says the man should love his wife like Jesus loves the church, which to me seems like a much bigger task than simply obeying your husband's authority. And no the husband isn't always right and also makes mistakes. Christians make mistakes.

Very good point. Submission comes when your actually working on something larger than yourself.

0:25 “The wife has changed on your watch.”
A fine attempt to guilt a husband who has seen his wife become aggressively combative, totally masculinized, and boorishly disrespectful as a result of being influenced by feminism in the workplace (she’s a nurse) and on social media.

That passage begins with, "submit to one another," and then goes on to explain how it looks in a family.
The wife should want to submit to her husband if her husband is submitting to Christ right right

Ephesians 5:21 Submit to one another. Spiritually, you are equal even though you have different gender roles on this planet.
For really good teaching on Biblical Patriarchy i recommend Doug Wilson, Joel Webbon, and Michael Foster for starters.

You know what… that is a great point lbvs. I am not the best at submitting to my husband. But this is a good eye opener as to why I should be.
Smh

Could you please do more videos addressing this? Particularly on how God does not favor men over women. And that He does love them as much as He does men?

Well the Bible says to meditate on God's Word day and night, and that God's Word is sweeter than honey for us.
Who did the editing? Its pretty good.
Womem have gotten a sad image of what it means to submit.
*"Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.*
*Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.*
*For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.*
*Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.*
*Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;*
*That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,*
*That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.*
*So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.*
*For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:*
*For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.*
*For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh."*
There is a reason the Lord made it this way.❤
Agree with what’s being said…..I’m a single man in my 50’s, I’ve been looking for a God-fearing woman….I know they exist, but I can’t find one….in or out of church….
my German shepherd is a good boy!
This is confirmation for me to be a “soon-to-be” wife 🙏🙌🏼

@IronSharpensIron127 Well, if you don't live in society, then you are 100%.

Yes, there are many wolves in sheep’s clothes calling themselves Christians and manipulating their wives.
Amen 🙏🏻❤️

Thank you guys, this message is highly need it in our days :)
God made man in His own image, in the image of God, he created him; male and female He created them. Gen 1:27

Where did you get "unconditional" love from, between a husband and wife?
If you want a wife in submission to you ... demonstrate that submission by YOUR submission to God. If my husband is truly submitting to God and following HIS word, allowing my husband to lead ME is an easy choice. If my husband is busy living in his OWN will it creates a lack of respect and a lack of TRUST in the decisions that he is making. Putting someone like THAT in charge of making family decisions is VERY difficult indeed.
we Obey the bible, thats whats Christians do, we dont need to sit and explain to justify yourself to those rebellious types
On a Living Waters podcast, it was said that a person should not be surprised when their spouse commits adultery if they lived together before marriage. The person sent the message to their partner that sex outside of traditional marriage is acceptable. The Word of God says quite the opposite.
I just wish i could find a conservative, god fearing, traditional middle-aged man to spend the rest of my life with!!

Here is a small segment from both:
Romans 13:1-14 - "Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God." (ESV)
1 Peter 2:13-17 - "Be subject for the Lord's sake to every human institution, whether it be to the emperor as supreme, or to governors as sent by him to punish those who do evil and to praise those who do good." (ESV)
Please read the full passages to get the full meaning and context of both of them. I believe they are encouraging us to submit to the governing institutions that God has allowed to be in authority. Meaning we would submit to their commands so long as doing so would not cause us to disobey God's commands. Which is seen in Acts 5:29 which states:
Acts 5:29 - "But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men."" (ESV)
I hope this helps!
God created Eve to be Adam's helper. Interestingly, that word, helper, is also used to describe God.
