Nathan's Hot dog eating contest & Nathan's famous hotdogs are known around the world for their amazing tasting, flavor, size and gluttonous eating contests and in this chase hotdog eating challenge! This is the biggest Nathan's hot dog, called the biggest wieners, that I have ever seen, and with options for many loaded hot dog variations like Chicago dogs, mac & cheese dogs, Mexican hot dogs (with Mexican street corn), and a chili cheese dog, participants pick 3 flavors for this 7.5lb hot dog, and have 60 minutes to eat the hotdog and chips in order to get the $50 meal for free along with a t-shirt which has some VERY interesting messaging on it (definitely check that out). We are at Twisted District Brew Co. in Garden City Idaho (Boise Idaho area) for this legendary Idaho food challenge which very well might be the biggest hot dog in the USA and their delicious American food and fancy hot dogs! The hotdog had been an undefeated food challenge for about a year, and only had a small handful of winners in the many years of the biggest wieners existence. Can we beat this giant food challenge? or will this crazy loaded hotdog challenge beat us? Tune in as we dive into this hotdog eating contest!

We like beans and chips aswellas dogs. But corn dogs are rare in the UK. Never eaten one!

As I've mentioned before to other professional eaters in my comments -- I love watching people in the background and watching their facial expressions when professional eaters start to eat. It gives us viewers looking at you through a single camera/video lens the real sense of how fast you are going and how impressively fast you really are; by their facial expressions, etc. I feel more engaged when I can watch audience members and you at the same time. I'm hoping one day, a professional eater will take my comments seriously. Watching a professional eater surrounded by people in the background so we can see their reactions and facial expressions, as opposed to just a wall or the back of the booth, is far more engaging and delightful to watch. Just sayin'!
I'd love it if you could do a Chicago Dog challenge IN CHICAGO. They're the best dogs, as you know, and I'm sure you could totally dominate any challenge.

I had a dog from a food truck once that had cream cheese, pepper jam, and jalapeños served in a pretzel bun. Probably one of the best combinations I’ve ever had!

chips and dogs are normal for me😁, I am sort of surprised that being in Idaho the spud side was not a baked tater though, maybe the crunchy chips makes it a bit harder to get down quickly.

@@graceoliva6172 People have different norms, I was quite surprised when my English great uncle ordered a bag of crisps at a pub, that was part of his lunch... To my Finnish arse crisps/chips are trash food you stuff in your face while watching tv on rare occasions, whether it's a movie or hockey match, but apparently in some places they're a side dish.

Hi Joel, I was wondering how your body reacts to these grueling food challenges. The amount of food, calories, fat and whatever else.....how do you 'physically' handle it?
He said that he typically feels it pretty heavily on the days after lol. I just want to be able to eat like this and not get fat.

Chicago dog is my fave as well..extra celery seed & spicy mustard! (BTW, that ketchup u threw on the Chicago is sacrilege! 😂) Every now and then I like chili, cheese & extra onions on my dogs...and yes, chips are a normal pairing with dogs.

As a kid, from PA, I lived on hot dogs. Maybe with a little mustard. Around the age of 12 I was in Virginia and they served a hotdog with mustard and raw onions, that became my go to! During my college years in the dinning hall, a hotdog with American cheese was what I lived on! ( probably the only edible thing there!) Now, many years later, I still go for a hotdog with American cheese, fried onions, and a touch of mustard. ( although heartburn usually follows! )

I have been spoiled by my late dad who loved going to Coney Island & would buy Nathan’s whenever we were in the US. I go cross border shopping to get Nathan’s and/or Hebrew Nationals (& Chobani yogurt). On Monday at the main border leading to Montreal, the Canada customs guy thought it was pretty funny when I told him that’s all I have in my cooler. Now I’m stocked for June!

Bacon wrapped Echo Park hotdog with peppers and onions, mayo and a jalapeño is my favorite dog. I make them at home because I'm not in L.A. anymore. And chips go with dogs, fries with burgers. Good job Joel.
