Oh man do I miss that time of year.. (it's currently March) But great stuff! I'm in the process of switching from an HHA to a Viper sight and it didn't come with instructions. The Viper has a little longer profile and a smaller pin, I think I got the .015 so I'm looking to tighten up my groups and get a little more range. My HHA max line was at 70 yards so hopefully I can get a little more out of the Viper. Mathews NoCam HTX has been treating me right since 2017. Love that bow!
@@wcwcgarner2717 I do. Still love it but I'm not gonna lie: that new Phase 4 in Bottomland looks so good. The sight is good, I really like pin size but I kept hitting left after I switched it out. But it was on me as I had started anchoring differently than before and threw me off just a few inches. Going to start shooting again here soon once baseball season winds down.
This video was perfect because I'm getting ready to set up a trophy ridge one pin alpha on my vxr 28,now the alpha doesn't have all the adjustment dots like the one pin pro does so my question to you is could I sight in at say 30 and 50 and use the sight tapes from there to get my in betweens and further ranges,I know it may be tough to try but I like the longer distance shooting and thought maybe try something Noone else has
Thank you! Just got my first 1 pin dial sight. I started at 15 yards, got it sighted in but found that my markings I'm making on the dial are terribly close to each other. So close I can't get 5 yard increments and was actually hoping to get 1 yard increments. Any ideas on getting a little more space on the dial other than dropping my draw weight? On 65 lbs currently. Also, I'm rather new to archery...been shooting less than a year.
Does it have to be 20 and 60 yards? I don't have large targets like that to stop a arrow. I'm wondering if we can do 20 and 40 and find a tape to match. I'm looking at the alpha slide. I don't think it comes with tape. Truglo makes a set of labels for $9. 85 labels I think. People are asking if it will work with xyz sight and it seems the answer is yes. So do we need tape from our manufacturer? Or any tape will work?
Why not move the rest to get your left and right clear back at 60? Like French tuning your bow. That's the only way I get field points and fixed blades to shoot the same.
Good video brother there’s not many out there on how to mess wth these one pins but you did a great job helped me a lot thanks man. Keep it up!
I know where you're at! Ritter springs just outside Springfield, MO. I was just there this afternoon sighting in my single pin sight

Awesome video!
I like a 4 pin black gold rush sight. But I want to try out a single pin black gold.
Spot Hogg fast eddy single pin.

i bought a hha optimizer lite sight but i could get the right tape. once i go past 40 yards the tape is off. big pain in the butt. what would you do.
Good video but I personally won't shoot 60 with Any Archery tackle
What ever makes you comfortable
This guy could hit a matchbox at 100 I reckon.
Pro shooting tip... Exhale and release at bottom of exhale
You said at 60 but above the bail it says 50 is that due to just shooting the how to video?
I was shooting 10 yards behind the shooting line at the 60 yd target
Spot Hogg triple stack personally
That's Ritter Park
