Great video and advice. Living in New York State. I feel the same way about the weather effecting my equipment and tools.

Glad to see smaller guys making it. I'm 23 been working in Fab shop since I was 18. Always dream of going on my own someday.

Thank you for sharing. I was wondering why more welders don't use a box truck or a trailer. I like how you mentioned that the trailer doesn't have to go in a shop with the truck

I live in Wisconsin but travel to Ohio and Michigan for work I am also a welder I have a enclosed 18’ trailer as a mobile shop and I keep my welder (Miller pipe pro 400) in my truck.

Love it! Im in a similar dilema. Truck vs trailer. Currently have a truck but up here in 🇨🇦 winters are harsh on equipment. Planning to go enclosed or bust!

Yea having it enclosed is definitely a plus for keeping your equipment out of the elements!

I like the ideal of a enclosed trailer I actually have 2 trucks and now I was thinking of a trailer for when I need extra welding machines on a job site but I like your set up so I may steal your ideal lol 😂

Hello sir ! Great video ! I’m gonna buy the Miller 250 efi and was wondering if I can TiG aluminum and stainless right from the machine? Where is the gas inlets in the bobcat ?

      Hello there,
You can TIG Steel and Stainless straight from the machine, Gas line just goes straight to bottle and is controlled by remote on torch head when plugged into machine. For Aluminum you would want a High Frequency Box, like what I have the Miller HF-251D-1 arc starter. Hope this helps!

Awesome setup, just picked up a 7 x 14 was wondering how is the welder mounted to trailer. Be safe.

Great video and setup, what size and capacity is the trailer? it looks like the perfect size to maneuver around job sites!!

Thanks man, appreciate it! The trailer is a 6x12. It is perfect size to me and definitely nice for moving around at a job site! I'm pretty much at my weight limit though so a tandem axle trailer would probably be ideal!
