    Telangana government to study ads by realtors to calculate land values for revision
    The state government is expediting the process to revise the market value of lands across Telangana. The Stamps and Registration department has directed officials to study brochures, advertisements and other promotional materials from real estate dealers and builders to get an indication of the prevailing market values of land in rural areas.
    The government has also set a tentative schedule, with revised market values expected to take effect from August 1. The Commissioner and Inspector General of Registrations and Stamps department issued a memo to officials, outlining the guidelines for this revision.

      Sir, this is a wrong notion. If you declare one crore as consideration, the Sub-Registrar allows to pay the duties on it, though government's market value is Rs3,00,000/-. But he cannot allow vice-versa. Govt కు ఎక్కువ ఆదాయం వస్తే, ఎవరూ అభ్యంతరం పెట్టరు.

    People having lands/plots/flats/houses already should be taxed at higher rates. The higher rates should be allowed to offset or return the differential when they sell the old land/plot/flat/house. Also property tax should be increased if an individual has more than one property.
