- Two platoons plus support elements worth of Tempestus Scion Shock Troops along with a kill team of Salamander Space Marines are sent to a chaos besieged Tau world in order to secure fleet movement data before it can be decrypted. For the majority of the force besides a small handful, this is a one way ticket! Shenanigans Ensue!

I died when that Salamander yelled "FOR SCOTLAND!"
You know, picking up a guardsman and carrying him to his unit so he gets there faster _is_ pretty in-character for a Salamander. We can overlook the zipties, probably.
Let's call it... limitations of the ARMA engine. Yes. That's it.
With the exception of the Scottish Salamander I think voice changer should be mandatory for Space Marine players. For the Emperor!

I love how these videos capture just how hellish being a guardsman would be. Long stretches of anxiety punctuated by sudden, inexplicable death from an enemy you almost never actually see.

@@alephkasai9384 the Krieg version is inexplicably fed from a box magazine, looking like a LMG scaled up. You'd expect them to have something looking more like an old-fashioned water-cooled Maxim derivative, given their overall theme...

Same, i just found him on his more recent videos and have been binging them. bought the game and have been trying to learn the base game before getting into multiplayer and modding.
This is actually shows the true means of the casualties count in the warhammer for the guardsmen how a single shot from their enemies could be fatal absolutely amazing job with theses vids keep up the amazing work . For the Emperor!

I am still amazed that this mere mod for arma3 looks so good, while a lot of WH40K games look like fucking utter garbage and offer not nearly that amount of variety or destructible terrain.
Maybe because Arma's a pretty good baseline game and the mod makers have passion for the mod?
@@guyfieri148 Yeah, that's exactly the point I tried to make. 90% of all WH40k games seem like soulless cashgrabs with a lackluster engine behind it, made by studios that claim they sank hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars to make them...
These modders have my utmost respect.

I love these warhammer ones especially! But I got a question. Do you by chance have any footage of any of the other teams during these events? It sounded like it might have been really cool to see the povs of some of the other teams, like the ones who first encountered the chaos space marines (Picket Point Alpha)

One time I survived 50 bolter rounds (non-consecutive), multiple plasma (of any kind, choose your poison) then bombs. I then died to freak vehicle disappearance.
