I like the off-road concept in all of these models, just wish they were more-flexible with open living spaces and larger fridges. Take out the shower and really open things up, 'cuz east to west, these are so tight inside. If the Winnebago adventure wagon stepped it up with large battery bank and AC, I would go that route
We totally agree about the fridge and living space. Dan likes the Storyteller Overland because they use an "unconventional" shower hidden in an overhead cabinet, and that leaves more room for living space. However, the refrigerator is still tiny in that model. We haven't come across the Adventure Wagon, and we hope to find one so we can do a review. Maybe they'll have one at the Supershow this year. The battery power in the new Revel is awesome!
I have seen a few van companies put a bench seat or those seats behind the driver's seat. I would like to see more reclining ones and maybe a foot rest. Like a recliner. I believe the bench seat could be switched to facing the sliding door. But I understand it's meant to be facing the front while driving. The best front lounge is the Pleasure Way. They made some changes over the years in the cabinet design.
You make very good observations and suggestions. We agree that the front "office" behind the driver's seat in some of the Pleasure Way models is a great use of the space for those working remotely. Very remotely. Thanks for the post.
We agree. We would love to see if they could design something that could be used as a lounge under the bed and then converted to storage for travel. Maybe a slightly higher roof or lower floor would work. They are limited by the chassis though.
We imagined it would be more for a solo traveler who is working on the road. Thanks for pointing out the options for the Revel. It's good to know there are aftermarket solutions available.
I love colour! Cause grey, black n white aren't colours imo 😂. 'It's the great pumpkin charlie brown!' Lol. Ok Dan, u say it everytime, n i laugh everytime, im gonna tease ya bud...the screen aint a privacy shade! 😂 😉. N oh boy those tiffin running boards r giving me flash backs terrors, i can see me easily slipping flat on my butt on a rainy day on them 😬. 🤔 Wonder when these manufacturers are gonna start making the european bathrooms. NA van bathrooms are all the same. I like the euro so much better, they have the swing away shower, ya get a medicine cabinet n even shampoo shelves n a usable sink n a window in most too lol. Compact but much more functional imo. N the different variations of that compact bathroom too lol. (If you're wondering utube channel minicampers, they show campers at a rv show over in germany). I want one those compact campers lol! Soooo many to choose from over there! 🍻
Now Dan is mad that he missed an opportunity with the "pumpkin" reference. As far as the privacy shade goes, we have seen some very dark ones that do restrict light during the day, and Dan insists that is what he means. Having said that, you probably won't hear him refer to them as privacy shades anymore. Ha ha. Rose now has first-hand experience with the GH1's running boards. They are a bit narrow, and we much prefer those on the Revel. Good question about the bathrooms, but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for them to make that change. We are still searching for one of those European models at the shows. We'll find one someday. Thanks for your insightful comments as always. We wish you well.
When a person buy a rv he wants to enjoy the freedom of traveling and the countryside last thing he doesn't want is the hous parts falling apart😢and has to spend time to fix it just like your Tiffin it leaks like waterfall during a rainstorm water destroyed your sofa and floor😢it's all because the cheap slican seal dry out😢and that probably ruin your vacation you tried to fix the problem and when you can't find it you were on the phone looking for a dealership to fix the problem😢😰most people don't want that headaches they want to enjoy the rv experience thor just too cheap yes price is good compare to other there is one yt channel i follow they got nothing but problem with their van the inverter was not secure to the board battery went bad it's good he is handy he was able to fix them AND the storages thor provides for the tube is too short😰that tells me they just put things together and didn't even brother to check the fit and finish😰i am in the market for rv i knows what company to avoid😂now
Pro built I dont agree. When you get Rv companies involved they are crap. That’s why I’m going to a-reputable builder. I guess thats what you just said. lol. 😂 yes I’m gonna pay! 😊
We can certainly agree with you on this one. It seems like a wasted opportunity, although it appears they prioritized storage over additional living space. Maybe they should treat it like the rear garage on some of those trailers we've seen.
Arm rest for the two rear seats should be included.CANT believe your still hung up on the space in the ‘B’s’,what do you expect in a van, good grief, and it’s not only you but all reviewers for class b vans.Get a ‘’C’’ with a slide……right……A SLIDEOUT.
We like the idea of the arm rests a lot. Dan is actually less concerned about space than Rose, and we are just now discovering how complicated slide issues can be. Unfortunately, we're finding out the hard way.
@@halffasttravelers2702 thank you for your response. The slide issue you are faced with is inexcusable, however it seems like LaMesa is doing the right thing by you…..time will tell. Slide belong in baseball.
Lower price point for a reason. And the GH1 was garbage. As a "single " person, even I'd be claustrophobic. No tiffin, no thor amd no promaster for me. Give me Transit or give me death!
What a great review and love your channels name. 👍😎
Thanks for the kind words. We're glad you enjoyed the review!
Good reviews

Need a lounge area in the back when the bed is raised.

Personally I like the GH1 with the adventure bar, for me it work the best. The Reveal though there are lots aftermarket options by overland companies.

@@halffasttravelers2702 yeah canton adventures makes lots of garage options
Thanks, we'll check it out.

No, in fact inspectors are numb to the lack of quality after cv19….
We have heard some good comments about certain inspection companies, but we agree there are some bad ones out there.

Those rear benches are not made for sitting. Even your feet barely reached the floor.
