I've been looking at this same model but a 2025. After watching your videos (which are awesome, btw!) i'm now scared to death of this product. This is brutal because I've been more impressed with the seemingly top quality of everything about this model more than anything. Should I run for the hills in buying the 2025 model of this?

Great video for coach comparisons. Only 2 of us, in our 60's, approaching retirement - zero desire for extended stays at campgrounds singing around a campfire - instead the desire is to stay on the move seeing stops - including urban areas the B+'s and larger can't go. B's fit the bill. Informative videos like this make it difficult since there are actually SO many options out there, making it difficult to narrow down - looking $140-150k max. The more informed we're getting the more confused! Still wrestling between the Promaster and Transit chassis, let alone the buildout. Thanks for the video and info.

While I love the LTV, not for me. Now if others could duplicate the quality - and those that duplicated the RL floorplan actually made it worse with the cheap-out compromises. Kudos to LTV for retaining the propane "pacemaker friendly" stove rather than hopping on the induction bandwagon. Besides not wanting to give LTV 3 years of my remaining life waiting, it is good that they now have limited availability on lots to walk in rather than rely brochures. A concern was the square shower which appears the same in every model. It is not if you can stand, but can you bend over and wash lower legs and feet. Initially loved the RL but then realized that in east/west sleeping position not even queen wide (54"=full), 60"=queen) with no walkaround requiring climbing over one's partner where north/south could scoot to end. Tiffin actually had an RL equivalent floorplan, but discontinued it after a year.

This is my dream RV, a Renegade Classic with the bunk over cab. We travel with our grandchildren during their summer break so having the large bunk would be ideal. Dan, the drawers built so nicely are using what’s called ‘dove-tail’ construction, not tongue and groove which would refer to flooring which fits together with a tongue that goes into a groove. They just don't know to make a person rv for Market. The design of the class B just waist a lot of space, poor design. I think a $60,000 solo small and shorter RV will be popular in the market. Italy makes a good one.

Fell in love with the unity fx back in 2015 er 🤔 2016 or so. These were very unique compared to anything else around back then. Then! I discovered u know! Overseas RV's! Where the selection for ebike n escooter compartments is on every rv! As that's a no go for a unity. So um...i think like everything else in NA, it has gone crazy nutty pricy. 🍻

I have the same setup you have. I have a 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL. Since the Blue Ox Patriot brake controller is connected to the battery I installed a RVi trickle charger to keep the Jeep battery charged. I pull the Jeep seat forward until it is about 1/2 inches from the brake controller. Great job on your video.

We have 99% the same tow setup as you. I am no expert but I think you have the brake controller not set-up correctly. According to our instructions, the seat needs to be about half an inch from the brake controller. If not, there is not enough "stroke" in the shaft to depress the brake pedal. I even got the seat stiffener because the seat was to soft and we did not get enough braking from the Jeep. We also have a 2 door Jeep and tow it with our Ekko. Just something to look into.

Here’s a clue: buy yourself a used Winnebago View or the Itasca version.

Black Tank systems are finished...If Thor upgraded with better cushions, Aqua Hot and batteries they would have something...

"Nova" means "won't go" in Spanish. Not a great moniker for a vehicle.

What you cannot see on the Nova is the insulation that Coachmen is putting into the units which make them easier to cool/heat and make them quieter during the ride. The layout is always a very personal decision, they all have their pros and cons.

I may have missed it, but is the Murphy bed usable with the slide retracted?

The Thor reminds me of the Ethos. Can you look up the Entregra Ethos ond Panoramic and see if you can find any to review? You could make a few comments about them if you want.

Other differences in cabinets you can show with Thor. If you knock under the upper cabinets, it will feel and sound like thin cardboard. Which is also like the drawers, where bottom is a white thin cardboard that may not support much weight over time. Entegra is a step up in some areas, like a bit more solid under cabinets and they also have smart hidden locks behind the door edges. With Coachmen, I have concerns about what is behind the scenes, such as the wiring. When I see someone demo how to winterize, the valves are in an area often referred to as the rats nest, where it looked like no care was take wire management. Electrical repair work may be difficult when it is such a mess and hard to figure out. Non perfect van out there, just have to be informed to know what you are getting into. Some may be fine with Thor quality due to the savings and the knowledge they will likely have to be handy fix and beef some stuff up.

On the Nova, the back drain is for the black water and also another valve for the grey water shower tank. The drain in the center is for the grey water kitchen sink. However both grey tanks are connected together too. Also the hitch is a higher quality plus if you look underneath you will see the tank has a nice frame to support them.

Well i'm not interested in a van yet, but i like the coachmans better windows n cabinetry build, love the simple retractable screens doors! Cant imagine having to fuss with a role up one when wasps are a pester 😬. Sigh....i'm still in love 🤤 with small class c of Europes RV's. 😂🍻

That inverter in the 2nd bay on the passenger side is 1000 watts. With all that tech and electronics how do they put a weak inverter in this that can’t handle normal household 120V appliances?

I LOVE that you mentioned the basement space for the Litter Box!😻 My Hubby and I are in our research stage for our retirement fifth wheel, but in our case it will be our full time home and we have pretty much settled on Brinkley for the quality and durability. I'm always looking at any floor plans, cargo carrying capacity and climate control with our pets (and my future reptile room, or at least shelves🐍🦎🐍) in mind, and a hidden area for our Tilly's litter box is one of those things 🤔

No slide outs for me...that decision was made long ago for me...noooo
