I want to clarify that when I say "semi auto simulator" or "simulate semi-auto," yes I am aware that it is full auto. I am referring to it this way because of the way I classified different auto cannons in my video about auto cannons. Auto cannons shoot can shoot in different ways, but one of the ways that one can make a cannon auto is by attaching a repeater clock to the back, which replicates the lever flicking that a person does when they are semi-autoing. So I decided to give it this name, especially since it can be done easily on cannons that were designed to be used manually. I understand that this name I've given it is completely arbitrary and probably confusing to some, but yes... when I say that, I do mean full-auto.

It has some more advanced options for landscaping as well, but you don't have to use those, just their extended creative mode hotbar helps alot with this kind of building.
Professor TNT, the new minecart mechanics actually do allow you to launch the TNT minecarts at incredible speeds. Simply make a tnt cannon the launches the minecarts along the rail. You can hit max speed instantly. Doesn't work with any other minecart sadly so no normal minecart cannons.
@@Omena0 Normal Minecart requires entity to hit the speed cap. So if you enter the minecart, its friction is reduced drastically and accelerate until you hit the shadow realm if you put 1k max speed.
@@Omena0 When you try to launch a minecart with a tnt explosion, it breaks. TNT minecarts are the only exception since they have to go through their fuse.
@@TheProfessorTNT you know that I’m not kidding, right? If a dispenser faces down and one is on top of that facing into the lower one, the lower one will dispense 2 simultaneously ignited tnt. This way you also could just make the cannon way more compact.
You using a vanilla fabric modpack to improve performance? Seems like it'd be a must. on my reasonable system, building cannons like this barely drops my FPS
Learn about the //stack command. You can use it to duplicate a slection in any direction given a selected number of times. It works with filled dispensers.
I really enjoyed watching your video btw the way that you copy tnt filled dispensers (at least the one i know) is using the /clone command from x y z to x y z and the x y z of where you want it pasted, this will copy a section of blocks and paste it with the nbt data
Usually the explosions eventually end, all that's need is time I say usually as occasionally the game can freeze if it can't handle the amount, yet you can still move, chunks won't render either (You had a small version of that happen for a brief period)

I finally understood how to make a tnt cannon because of you, Thanks😀 Now im gonna build one to attack my friend on server in the next video i make an update on how it went.
It would be so cool if you could work on some Long Range Artillery TNT Cannons (like 1000-3000 Blocks Range) that actually always hit a consistent area (maybe like between 500-700 Blocks or for higher ranges 2000-2300 Blocks with scattershots everywhere basically)
10:51 you were out of the render distance of the entities, meaning they still had yet to touch down and explode (for all those non minecrafters out there who still didn't understand when he explained it)
I think it coupled with lazy chunck acceleration, which explains the tnt that were launched a lot further because they were at the border of the non entity processing chunk and got influenced by nearby exploding tnt in still loaded chunks
*looks at castle* . You know, if you had a discord, you could probably increase audience retention by blowing up your subscriber’s builds- I, for one, would like to see it. Also gives unique shapes to destroy :3
I cant think of the specific command to fill them at the moment, but i do know that world edit copies block entity data, so you can place a small area, copy paste it, and repeat until its full Edit: i found a command to fill it all, but its too long to paste in chat so you have to use the vanilla /fill command inside a command block

Yes. But in my video where I cover autos I call it that because it mimics the way someone semi autos a cannon compared the way other auto cannons shoot
since you have WorldEdit, it is pretty simple to build a bunch of pre-filled dispensers in one go... just do this: Place a row of Dispensers pre-filled with TNT facing in the direction that you want them to face, mark them to copy with the WorldEdit Axe and then type //stack in the chat with your character facing the direction you want to expand the row of Dispensers to Example: you have a 5x1x1 row of downwards facing dispensers but you want it to be a 5x100x1 slab of downwards facing Dispensers to expand it, stand next to the 5x1x1 row, facing broadside to the west (if your dispenser row is going from north to south), type "//stack 99" in the chat and your row of downwards facing dispensers will become from east to west a 5x100x1 slab of 'em... Visual example: Y> You ( shows the direction you're facing), D = Dispensers, X = "//stack XX" (XX representing the amount of copies in the given direction where you look at, when you look onto the top of the Block it will obviously copy the blocks downwards and vice versa when you look at it from the bottom) The important part when using this WorldEdit Command is that ALL COPIED DISPENSERS will retain the Inventory of the Source Dispensers (they get copied including the given NBT-Data of the Source Blocks) +++ EXAMPLE USING TOP-DOWN VIEW +++ .
