The reporters are there to report the trending news. They will write what is paying the bills. It’s ok to point out the biased reporting but not ok to omit the obvious reason why they are reporting that way. Marketing does not have a favorite player just because it is a monster that is built on demand. Not sure why the concept of understanding the something new and exciting is not taking well with the WNBA but I believe if the league does not drown out the voices like this post, they will loose new fans like me. By the way I saw D.Bonner and A.Thomas today because of my new interest in the Chicago Ski #Reese. Your comment on the reporters make new fans like me feel unwelcome. I hope we can find common ground and you even teach me about this new sport ( for me) that I’m following. It’s all the better for everyone.

It’s not Caitlin vs everyone here, it’s the media continuing on with this narrative of pitting her against everyone.

She did have a great showing even though it was one of her lowest point totals and I loved her answer about finding other ways to contribute because it’s not always about personal scoring.
