I applied 2 days ago and got my interview yesterday and got hired (my first ever interview I was so nervous) and it was a conversation. they asked what I liked to do in my free time and my hobbies and stuff and they said I was hired, the whole process took about 5 minutes and I have my orientation today after school

i work at chipotle right now since july and girl i agree 100% so many stressful days but just relieving the stress in the walk in makes it better chipotle isn’t a bad job but you just gotta fight through it
I just got hired at Chipotle today and I just got to the US so everything's quite pretty new. Haha this is really helpful. The interview part was so on point, it's very conversational which really works. Hoping the best for the orientation, training and work itself!

omg yes to like everything you said, ive been working at chipotle for over a month now on grill and it has been so stressful, and I just need to stand in the walk in all the time
got hired on the spot for grill . worked 2 days training and realized its so terrible for the pay im 28 years old i dont need to get min wage and be running around like a chicken with my head cut off its crazy fast paced and alittle too stressful i quit so fast.. i dont even eat alot of chipotle Qdoba is my go to spot since quac and queso is free there and they have way more toppings.

I mean its 5 minutes away I barely spend gas but the stress and anxiety everyone is talking about makes me want to hold off and wait until the perfect opportunity arises.
Not tryna be a dick just being completely honest. sounds like you problem personally. Sounds like you can't handle pressure and having to move with a constant sense of urgency. If you're ever behind on beans it's always easier to just cook things ahead that's what the hot box is for. You should abuse the fact that you have 3 hotboxes 2 for your rices 1 on on the dml. When you know it's going to be busy it's easier to drop 3 black beans and 1 pinto bean. The 3 black beans to save on stockpots you can split then a bag and a half each between two stockpots. Plus a bag and a half of beans should usually fill a deep all the way to the hot holding line. You should always be dropping a full plancha of chicken. Not N.O.T a full pan a full P.L.A.N.C.H.A. if you're really good at squeezing the chicken should be able to fit two full deeps of chicken. If not you can usually fit a full deep plus like 2.5-3.5 extra lines of chicken or basically half of another deep. You should always cook chicken 2 times back to back. That way you have extra chicken for the hotbox. Then you can drop your steak samething dropping a full plancha not N.O.T a full deep a full plancha. That way you have steak for the line and steak for the dml. Then just keep alternating like that drop chicken 2 times then steak chicken 2 times then steak chicken 2 times then steak. None of your managers or going to say shit that you're cooking too much food. Because 1)its obviously fucking busy you're going to go through the food. 2) they'll be mad at you more for constantly running out of food and having to wait on you vs you already having the food ready to go just needing to be switched out onto the line and dml. Plus if you're always constantly cooking extra beans and extra chicken by the time lunch rush is over you don't really need to cook anything because of the fact that you made extra of shit that's when you can start slowing down on how much extra you should be cooking.
It's been 5 days since I joined . They put me on grill and boy it is stressful and very physically demanding. They pay me the same amount as the one you specified. Is there a role you have to do when working there, or do you just tell each other if they wanna switch or something like that? Like we’re you assigned cashier when you entered
when they interview/hire you they’ll ask what position you would like to do or recommend a position if they need more people there. Once you get more comfortable you can just ask the manager if you can try other positions and they’ll schedule you for those instead!
