I’m surprised he didn’t bring up the evolved firecracker, upon release you could plant it at the bridge and it could do 1500 damage in just one shot if positioned right

Executioner on release was broken.
A bug gave him a hidden “stun” gimmick that gave him the ability to reset the attack animation for a lot of troops, delaying their attacks sometimes even better than zap.
He was even more op when they reworked him to buff his damage. That thing could destroy entire pushes better than a zappy
This was a pain. i was doing lava loon clone at the time and the bug made me not use the deck lol
that first archer at the start of the video could fix me
You gotta include cards that didn't have a counter/rely on a spell
You should include witch during the October 2019 meta where she dealt 200+ damage

There was like no counter at all because THEY COST 6 FREAKING ELIXIR

I remember the royal ghost apparently being incredibly broken at launch, i think I was still pretty new to the game at that point so I only got it later after it was nerfed, but i remember some streamers not wanting to play the game because of it
What was so op was the mighty miner buff making him from slow to fast
Mighty Miner never had a slow movement speed, he used to and has today a medium movement speed
Literally 0.1 seconds into the video and Havoc already down bad.
If you got 4 phoenixes in the field you would automatically win. I remember using phoenix cycle with pump.
It was phoenix cycle pump mirror clone it was just a race of who could get the most phoenix on screen
Honestly that was more fun then the current miner poison 50% of the games
Mega minion during the goison era was also op as hell.

Mega minion wasn’t op from my memory, it was strong and was meta but it was never broken
@@Deathmare235it was really strong, I remember playing mega minion and for only 3 elixir, it was able to destroy most pushes with support from skeletons as distraction. It was game breaking as it can still be easily countered on offense and on defense, it’s an actual menace. The damage it dealt was way to god damn high
you are gonna have a lot of content as it seems every new evolution they release is just going to dominate meta
E-Giant v2(the one we had until it got nerfed in like March 2022) was mad OP too. You basically NEEDED a tank-killer

Goblin Drill on release was very strong too, aswell as 4 skeleton troops for 1 elixir, reworked fire spirit, reworked witch and executioner, Zap in 2016, pre tower damage nerf earthquake, 6 elexier royal guards, longer hit range PEKKA, 1min lifetime bombtower, reworked bomber, ram rider 100% slow, ice spirit 2sec freeze, lvl 16 mirror, reworked E-Giant

The change they made to the elixir collector that you didn’t mention was that it no longer appears in your starting hand.

The royal recruits are getting a evolution soon, they have more health and damage but their special ability is when their shield is removed they can charge and deal about 259 damage at tournament level, that’s insanely Op because before they couldn’t kill a single goblin but now, they can one shot goblins, princess, and even mini Hoggs.
Man I miss the 2016 E barbarians i used to love spamming with Valkyrie or Lumberjack and see the enemy instantly rage quit
Another nerf to the X-bow was the no tie rule so they couldn't defend for the whole time and never have to spell cycle to save elixir
I remember my first legendary was the Night Witch on release, so yeah, I went from zero to hero (or villain maybe?) pretty damn fast, lol
for a short time of 3 months in 2020 e barbs became broken again when it got a slight buff and suddenly every single deck was running them.

8:28- Xbow went from an easy to use cards to one of the hardest in the game. Even the pro player Ian77 switched to hog as xbow became so bad.

ram rider at release was absolutely broken. it stunned towers on top of everything else
Really no mention of Royal recruits, there was no counter because of the 6 elixir price tag with the combination of high hit points and damage the only card that had a chance to counter was the barbarian and who played that
When I was younger the first strat I used was X-Bow and I got to like 3000 trophies. Things started countering it and nerfs happened so I ended up getting better by needing different strats. I’ve rarely used most of the cheese cards in the game because they annoy me but X-Bow did use to be so good.

Will never forget that mirror buff😭 I’ve always had mirror maxed causes I played a lot of 2v2s and most my decks revolves around it to mess around with and then they buffed it. Best time I’ve had on clash❤

i was a night witch abuser at the time, i was a golem user so it was too fun, the only nerf that shutted golem decks down is that night witch death spawn

You missed one of the most OP cards at the time. A card that terrified every CLASH Royale player when it was used against them.
When they buffed Executioner.
That damage buff with short range killed like every push. That with tornado destroyed everything. One of the most damaging units at that time that needed to revert back as it was too much.

We need a game mode where cards get almost every nerf undone. Imagine 6 elixir evo recruits, prime champions, NW, ghost use to be able to always 1v1 a knight, now knight has currently the best evo to combat. Prime pump! Spawners. Etc would be nice to see the doo doo cards eat along side every other cards be so OP

Why is no one talking about how BROKEN the howrider is? For four elixir you get a fast card that targets buildings, has 2500 HP and does like...600 damage.

I'm actually still a Heavy User of Elite Barbarains to this day, for some reason, i have a deck that "just" works for me with it, and nobody else (trust me, i had a lot of friends who were good at Clash Royale, and had no idea how to win with my deck)

E giant at launch was completely useless and the worst card in the game because of a bug that made the reflect damage the same as level 1 electro giant no matter how much you leveled up.
