The problem that I have found is the water in the Spa is not being maintained often enough and the chemicals are way off most of the time and the sensor is going bad because of all of that. Thanks for Watching & SUBSCRIBING
Thank you very much for this video. My CalSpa has been out of service for the past 10 years with this 5F Code. I had not been able to figure out what this indicated, until I found your tutorial. I am going to try to troubleshoot and fix this myself. I hope this is my only problem. If not, I'll be calling you for help! Lol😂 (La Puente, CA)

Spa Error Codes: Sn, Sn1, HL, E2, E3, Prh For these trouble codes, the high limit sensor is open or shorted. It could be a loose plug connection or bad wire, or it could be a problem related to water flow. Clean or replace your spa filter cartridge as a first step. Make sure that all jets are open, and nothing is blocking the spa drain cover flow. Underneath the spa, check that all valves are open (handles up). If the flow rate still seems less than normal with all jets and valves open, you may consider inspecting for broken valves (closed when they appear to be open), clogged impeller inside the pump wet end, or something stuck in the skimmer pipe. Of course, be sure that you don't have a pump air lock, and that the spa water level is filled high enough. Spa Error Codes: Sn, Sn2, Sn3, EO, E1, Prr With these spa sensor codes, the Temperature Sensor is open or shorted. The temp sensor and the high limit are usually located on the heater housing, with 1-2 small wires coming off and connecting to your controller. With the system powered off, you normally unscrew the sensors from the heater manifold, and unplug the wire from the panel. Inspect the wires for any heat or rodent damage, and the sensor face for corrosion or scaling. However, the usual cause for spa temp sensor error codes is that the water flow is insufficient, and when water moves too slowly through the heater, it doesn't remove the heat fast enough, which triggers all sorts of error codes for flow rate and overheating. @Spa Man I just bought a house with this type of hot tub and have issues with the jets. The bottom pump/jet is pushing water up fairly forcefully. The other jets are weak. I can't find much on this tub. Any help would be great!
what does the pressure switch when pump is running, contact open or closed, my is open with and without power??? And which side is Pump1 left or right side?
How's it going love your videos. The same thing happened to me the other day. When I went to service the spa I noticed it was leaking. When I open it up and touch that part that broke off as well. My problem is I still have half of the threads broken inside. Should I use an extractor bit to get the rest of the broken switch out? What did you use to get the broken piece out?
Every time they leak from that switch and you touch it (even a tap ) they break.. Bottom line you buy a new one and replace it ...easy fix. Thanks for Watching & SUBSCRIBING
I sent my new control panel and new circuit board back to company to be tested, they had it working and unlocked. I still having issues of it being stuck in EC mode and still doesnt heat AT all with new heater/element, what do i have wrong? it goes into the F2,F4,F6,F8,FC modes but nothing for ec,st,sl.
Hi! I have a Calspa similar to this one and I have been trying to find this part for ages! Someone told me it was called a flow sensor, others have called it a pressure switch, safety switch, all sorts of names. I just can't seem to find the correct part to buy it! Where should I look to buy it from?
On this hot Tub there is several buttons ...two of witch make the temp go up an the other down....If you have a model with only one button ? you push the heat button and hold it down the heat will be either going up or down if it is not going in the direction you want it to go stop wait a couple of sec and push it again and it will be moving in the other direction... Hope that Helps and Thanks For Watching & SUBSCRIBING

I have no error codes but it will run on high and low speed when you use the key pad but went it is suppost to automatically come on to heat back to set temperature it won't start. My sister has a 2005 Cal Spa with a 7000 Electronic Control. The jets seem to work, but we can't seem to get it to heat up. We're new to this spa, so we don't know if we're just operating it wrong, or if there's a problem. I was able adjust the heat, but it never seems to turn on. Can you do a video on how to operate one? Thanks!

If the heat light is on and temp set at 100 and water temp is 76 ...and an hour later temp is still 76 you might need a new heater... You can also use a tester to om out the heater to see if its any good...I have a video that shows how to change the heater.. Hope that helps .Thanks for watching & SUBSCRIBING
We replaced the heater and one Pump, but the Heat light comes not on also no voltage at the heater.... thats the problem. Maybe motherborard od panel bad. Senors all connected. Where to find a better schematic diagram than printed in the box? Thanks so far for answer me?
I have a 2005 CalSpa and the motor "buzzes" and will not circulate unless I press the Jets button. It kicks into high and then after a minute, I can shut Jets off and then press Jets button again to get it run on the lower speed.
@@scottdouglas7829 Im sorry I do not in your area ...I do know if you call pump and motor places you will find someplace that rebuilds for a fair price..it will just take some research on your part ...If you do find a place share it with me and I'll share it with others.... Thanks for watching.
@@spaman5440 I have a Calspa Escape 864L has 2 pumps, one has 2 speed and the other is a one speed. The one speed runs for 10 seconds then shuts off. After that all we get is clicking when pushing the button. Can not find the “safety Suction Switch” any ideas?
