WRECK DIVING IN COZUMEL || Exploring the C-53 Shipwreck

Welcome back to Cozumel! In this video, we take you on our dive through the C-53 wreck. Also known as the Felipe Xicotencatl, the C-53 is 184 ft long and lies perfectly upright at a depth of 78 ft -- great for recreational divers! This ship once served as a mine sweeper with the US Navy during WWII before being sold to Mexico in 1962 and used to patrol the Gulf of Mexico. She was retired in 1999 and now serves as part of Cozumel's underwater park.
