Might not be his polar opposite at all, you mistake the stereotypical idea of "a manly man" being a gigantic hunk of meat with a deep voice. A big man does not necessarily have to be a tall and strong one. Maybe what you see is what true big men are like - would explain why her mind is blown at the end.
