Warzone ain’t the problem. The problem is them not giving af about the actual quality of the game because they rather put out a new 1 every year. We don’t need a new game every year. We need a great game that last long till the technology improves to do better things.
I disagree warzone is a problem it isn't cods style. Warzone is a love child of fortnite cod is not It's daddy. Nothing that makes call of duty the fast paced, arena, style skill based shooter it was made it into warzone. When you play warzone you are NOT playing cod you are playing fortnite.
@@jamesmc4732 warzone is more fun. People were sold on Warzone. Every now & then people like jumping between both. Fornite is more goofy & playful. However yes now these days warzone is going downhill with the poor implementation & the need to copy instead of actually innovate.

Even if the majority of the people on the planet start eating shit I'm still not gonna eat shit warzone is garbage the player count can't change that. The majority players are the next generation who have been sold on this warzone garbage therefore everyone just copies them now. Maybe if we just stuck to the first couple months of mw2019 and kept bettering it from there instead of combining it w Cold War and vanguard, honestly would have been an amazing game I’d play for a while.
Most of these didn't really bother me except the whole taking a section of the Warzone map and turning into a MP map. If I remember correctly, a lot of the launch maps for MW2 were just sections of the Warzone map, then most of the seasonal maps were as well, and it just made me so mad how lazy they were. I would rather play remastered OG maps then that. I'm glad this changed for MW3. It feels like Sledgehammer has been doing things well with how they've handled MW3 thus far.
Kinda wish they just stuck with MW19's tracers being mostly single colors with occasional death fx in obviously silly bundles. I don't think III+II even has normal single-color tracers except for the long-gone soccer legends bundles, iirc those had simple tracers.
The only issue Cod has is slide canceling with no restrictions, and the second one is the terrible audio there’s times where people creep up fast as hell with no sound. Then the in game lag and the cheaters. That’s really it other than the insane amount of head glitches and drop shooting
Trouble is, it looks to me as if you don't like/aren't interested in Warzone, then COD feels more like table scraps. I do hate how they're tying plot critical narratives into Warzone, "Oh what's that, you want to know this character is alive but didn't play Season 5? Lol 2 bad idiot, we're not explaining!" - A good story should be able to stand up on it's own, not leave people in the dark because they missed a side piece. I feel the best way to sum up is that swimming pool meme, Warzone is the child being looked after, Multiplayer is the drowning child, Campaign is the drowned skeleton.
Warzone 2.0 should never have existed imo. If they just separate the games (MW19 and warzone) in two applications, I think that could have ended the stability and crash problems (I’m no dev, just my opinion)❤ PD: I love ur videos, keep it up❤️
What I don’t get about the Store is that why don’t people just NOT buy anything? Do people feel like if they do not buy 24$ bundles they will be shamed for not having it like other people do? Or feel like they are missing out? The Store was atrocious and then when the DMZ bundles first came out last year I was really pissed off. And people are continuously buying all the bundles up. Everyone I see in my lobbies has all the new and old bundles. They could pay my mortgage payment with how much they’ve spent on bundles. COD is horrible.
It's not about just not buying it, it's the premise of it. We want things to be unlockable not just shoved behind a paywall. I hate the bundles they have, I want simple military style cosmetics not this cringe virgin shit, but I would rather get all these flashy skins unlockable via challenges or even in the free battle pass, not locked behind $20 bundles. I want Cod to have progression, to have things worth playing the game for, if there isn't anything to unlock by simply playing the game it devalues the entire game. Look at what Cod used to be, even supply drops were a more fair system cause you didn't have to spend a single cent and could have the same shit as anyone else.
PUBG has the best Battle Royale period followed by Blackout for COD. Once you're dead, you're dead. No bullshit second chances. I do agree though, feels like multiplayer has took the backseat ever since Warzone was a thing. Warzone isn't even good either. I thought Blackout was a lot better. No loadouts where everyone can use the same meta weapons. You use the weapons and attachments you find. That's how a Battle Royale should be.
Who remembers Cold wars fire team dirty bomb. Man what a time to be alive that mode was truly special I enjoyed it so much when it was thriving. Honestly I would be playing that more than I play warzone now if they hadn’t just scrapped it. Who else agrees
The thing I liked about Blackout, was it just felt like an extension to MP, where as Warzone is like a whole separate client they melted into the MW19. Warzone and MW19 were developed side by side even though they didn't release together, but MW19 multiplayer would have been made with Warzone in mind, where as it was the opposite for Blackout, Blackout was made with multiplayer in mind.
3:46 - 4:42 You said it best, that's something I really despise about the new age CoD. Warzone ruined Call of Duty for me and I have stopped playing it since the new MWIII after giving them years of chances. Great video.
Yes. Because campaign and zombies are now being merged with it, and each studios universes are being blended , which ruins everything. I layed cod to rest already. Not buying another cod unless it’s advanced warfare, a future black ops game, a futuristic game, or ghosts 2. Black ops and modern warfare are done to death
War zones main problem was trying to be Fortnite, instead of building a more down to earth BR for people who don’t like the more cartoony Fortnite style
COD will never be the same. I been going back playing all the older ones. Like older older ones, like BO1/2, MW2/3, COD 4, and so on. I did love Warzone but i quit after the 1st map went away. Cheats were bad but I imagine they are way bad now. Even on PS3 BO2 is pretty much unplayable. Just people shooting randomly into the sky killing folks. Pretty sad cause I really grew up playing cod like lots of others.
This video is a perfect explanation of what warzone did to cod, but there is one thing I didn’t agree on in that warzone saved cod by a lot of players coming back or being introduced. Yes it made everyone play cod again but warzone really isn’t call of duty. It’s its own game and that’s why call of duty was abodoned. Cod would have had a player base even without warzone just not as many people which is honestly for the betterment of the franchise. But that’s sadly not the case
Idk about others but I had so much fun with the boys playing warzone during the quarantine and even made a couple more friends. It was a fantastic experience
I hopw they fix this mess with the new premium call of duty, as you do claim there is a plan, I was a christmas newbie when i got my first call of duty, ADVANCED WARFARE and loved it so much, I do wish they focus on multiplayer more now as warzone is not fun especially with the ptw operators, its basically a fortnite clone, I mean what happened to call of duty being the gritty war/fighting experice, I do hope they bring it back, (LUV FROM YOUR BIGGEST SUPPORTER IN INDIA)
OG Warzone (2020-2021) brought COD back to the top of gaming. It was so much fun gaming and playing WZ during the pandemic. Then Caldera came out and killed a lot of hype then WZ2.0 killed it even more. At the same time, developers neglected MP and let it turn into a mediocre SBMM filled recycling bin. Now COD is down bad. Warzone is played out and MWIII is actually pretty decent but the SBMM makes it tough to want to play for too long
1:02 *No mixed reception for me, COD WW2 is best COD and FPS in the last 7 years* still play heavily today. The COD Community and Gaming world can try to deny it but *the game was innovative, simple, straightforward and saved COD* especially after The Overhaul Update. If you dont think so how are those Automatic AUTOMATIC disbanded lobbies, heavy SBMM, and 15+ aiming and sensitivity settings you change every week , treating you in those Modern CODs? lol.
Warzone 1 ( Mission Succes ) Warzone 2 ( Mission Failed ) Warzone 3 ( Mission on the way ) Actually people Still arguing about Thick rate and Matchmaking system but Belive or not warzone 1 also has that stuf and no one complaining, which mean warzone 2-3 Is actually not bad and not even bad at all its solid game no one game can Replace it but Why we hate it is because we already taste the godly game like Warzone 1
In a way yes but also no. Mw2019 was a horrendous multiplayer experience so in a way warzone saved many people from leaving the series myself included. That being said they have def taken resources away from MP and just put them into warzone and its clear its suffering.
I'm usually just strictly multiplayer I don't even play warzone not my style. It did run it in my opinion because you would have more people and multiplayer playing multiplayer and it'll be bigger lobbies and more matchmaking. Less people playing multiplayer now😢😢😢
I’m pretty sure years from now we will look back at modern warfare 3 and talk about how great of a game it was we always do this we always think things from the past are so great when the current product is just bad that’s just how it goes with anything though not just video games
When it comes to the mw2 story line for the live service. A lot of the story was sort of wrapped up in DMZ. Mainly with troops in Al mazarah, Ashika, and vondel. If you haven’t grabbed and read any of the intel that’s why you probably won’t know everything
DMZ is worse than Warzone and screw collecting 'intel' like a braindead drone. What a garbage way to experience a story. Only someone with zero self-respect would enjoy that
Its the same as with Madden and Fifa with ultimate team. The mode itself didnt ruin Call of Duty, but Call of Duty's SINGULAR FOCUS on the mode is what ruined it. Activision saw the giant cash cow and focused almlst exclusively on it. The game itself became designed around Warzone, and everything else suffered as a result. And now, just like with EA and Ultimate Team, Activision has now straught up built the SINGLE PLAYER MODES around Warzone too.
Great video as usual T!! I don't think that warzone necessarily ruined CoD however it does negatively impact the game greatly. I think the main thing that is ruining the game is the corporate greed. They just care about money. Just look at the recent buff to the TAQ Evolvere. It gets BROKEN right before a $20 bundle releases. The bundle goes live, then the gun is nerfed shortly after. Same with the doom shotty last year. If it wasn't for that, I feel like we could have a well rounded game if they just cared about the game and the playerbase rather than whatever microtransaction they can come up with.
I thought they did bring soap from the dead because he actually talks to you in modern warfare zombies, or maybe modern warfare zombies happened before the campaign, it all doesn’t make sense
What makes fornite works in terms of immersion is that it’s not only not trying to appeal to an audience that wants realism, (which is what COD has specifically done) but the cartoony style compliments and even encourages goofy crossovers. Which makes it work. It helps emphasize what the game is all about, whacky, unpredictable, goofy fun. There’s no logical consistency so it wouldn’t be odd to add Goku to the Fortnite universe. Especially when you consider that Fortnite doesn’t even take place on planet earth. Back in mW19 when it was still new, hell before it came out, during interviews you had a whole bunch of people talking about how for the first time COD was gonna take a realistic approach. We see all the mechanics of firearms and how they work as they would in real life, the bunch of different optics and rails you can attach to your rifles, then once you get the game, all of that doesn’t even matter because after a while you got these unrealistic anime operators with cat ears running around with bright colors. It doesn’t matter how realistic your game is, if you insert things that don’t match the theme, especially if it was previously advertised, you’re gonna have a divided fan base that’s gonna be pissed, and rightfully so. Let’s look at the past, COD WW2, the real one, gritty, dark, unforgiving, and a huge amount of graphic content. That’s how it was during the actual thing, war crimes, people getting their limbs blown off, it was the truest reflection of WW2 in any game up to this point and everything from the guns to the factions, it all stayed true to the real thing, that’s why it was so popular. Now? It’s a joke. Consistency is key where Fortnite has succeeded and COD has failed. Maps are aren’t the greatest for multiplayer, weapons are often unbalanced, spawns are god awful, etc. And spec ops? Doesn’t even hold a candle to the older versions, and this isn’t even nostalgia talking here, they put ZERO effort.. COD is an utter, midlife crisis mess that needs to straighten out or shut down completely. And I say this as someone who’s been playing cod for the 21 years I’ve been on this planet.
100% Yes, zero doubt in my mind that it did. It single handedly sucked away from campaign, multiplayer, and zombies. Those modes are a shell of their former selves.
Yes. Multiplayer, Zombies, and even campaign have all seen a significant reduction in resource allocation, innovation, and quality. All for a temporary trend. They're just now seeing how much that will impact them among other practices finally souring the game's image even in the eyes of lifelong fans. They will either have to backpeddle so hard that the fans forgive them, create a new fanbase on an entirely different style of game that will have longevity, or suffer the consequences of their actions and fade into obscurity. I'm honestly just watching the whole thing unfold as an observer now and I don't really care where it goes. Been burned too many times to get back in that kitchen.
Data analytics is another big problem 📊 Activision keeps saying “our data show this, and that” to justify SBMM but instead they should just LISTEN to the community👂
I hate Warzone because of cross-play, I’m on PS4 and I basically always fight off PC users which makes it unfair, I only get happy in MP but that was a limited time mode and I don’t own it
🤨 where? I’ll get 3 pc players in my lobby’s max. And I’m a pc player, 85% of the lobbies I’m in is controller players I’ll even see pc players using controllers singe aim assist is just way easier to abuse
Why would I buy bundle for 1800 CD if I can buy a battle pass or just pay 20 euros for bundle at very bottom to get bonus CD to get bonus bundle for myself and battle pass

I don't bother with story add-ons in multiplayer. It's cheap trash. MW3 basically has no story, so it's half a game. That's why the entire industry laughed at COD at award shows this year.
Also, streamers and camping ruined the game. Everything is meta/exploits and other feedback that causes the devs to change the game. It was simpler time before this and people played their own way and weren't playing like every match is ranked

@IcedOutkrs no it's a trend that's it we shouldn't have it in every game it's a copy and paste from another game it's garbage. Even if the majority of the people on the planet start eating shit I'm still not gonna eat shit warzone is garbage the player count can't change that. The majority players are the next generation who have been sold on this warzone garbage therefore everyone just copies them now. Games use to have variety cod was different from halo and halo was different from gears of war but very soon you guys will make sure they all play the same with you're warzone bullcrap.
@@jamesmc4732 not even. Warzone 1 was everyone’s fav. Old and new players. MW3 warzone is complete garbage that they dropped the ball on. They made one of the most fun Brs in its time that’s why it gained a lot of traction & they did it in their own way.
@IcedOutkrs your not convincing me dude cod SOLD its identity for a cash grab and somehow you people like it. Seriously?
Maybe if we just stuck to the first couple months of mw2019 and kept bettering it from there instead of combining it w Cold War and vanguard, honestly would have been an amazing game I’d play for a while.
MW19 had the best mix between realistic and whacky skins tbh
Most of these didn't really bother me except the whole taking a section of the Warzone map and turning into a MP map. If I remember correctly, a lot of the launch maps for MW2 were just sections of the Warzone map, then most of the seasonal maps were as well, and it just made me so mad how lazy they were. I would rather play remastered OG maps then that. I'm glad this changed for MW3. It feels like Sledgehammer has been doing things well with how they've handled MW3 thus far.
The last cosmetic that was actually pretty cool was tracer packs. I also agree that ghost was a battle hardened brit, but now he's a glowing joke
Kinda wish they just stuck with MW19's tracers being mostly single colors with occasional death fx in obviously silly bundles.
I don't think III+II even has normal single-color tracers except for the long-gone soccer legends bundles, iirc those had simple tracers.
Love you T, can’t wait to see what videos you do next 💚
More to come!
I was very upset when all the people from mexico weren't in the MW3 Story.
There was a MW3 story?
@@HULK-HOGAN1 no
That abomination is NOT a story
I honestly blame both MP and Warzone for what has happened to campaigns in COD
Zombies is the chair the skeleton sits in
Warzone 2.0 should never have existed imo. If they just separate the games (MW19 and warzone) in two applications, I think that could have ended the stability and crash problems (I’m no dev, just my opinion)❤
PD: I love ur videos, keep it up❤️
I like BR but I hate warzone with a passion
why is that?

Who else agrees
bo4 was the last multiplayer i truly enjoyed since blackout didnt suck 75% of the resources into itself
LOVE WHEN I GET THAT TDAWG TH-cam NOTIFICATION!!!!!!!
W!
3:46 - 4:42 You said it best, that's something I really despise about the new age CoD. Warzone ruined Call of Duty for me and I have stopped playing it since the new MWIII after giving them years of chances. Great video.
Oh man I love these documentaries
wooohooooo
10:02 ink slasher: imma stop you right there
Never resurrected Graves. He actually was never in that tank he escaped in a cutscene in the facility. You could see him running for a split second
Warzone should have been its own game separate from each yearly release
Idk about others but I had so much fun with the boys playing warzone during the quarantine and even made a couple more friends. It was a fantastic experience
Great video! What’s the intro music track you’re using? I know it plays during a mission in mw2 (the good one)
How do you always post a video of EXACTLY what im thinking! I literally thought of this THIS morning! 😂
And the one time call of duty last year had third person mode to make it actually even worth buying skins they remove it this year
I still have 0 kills in warzone 😢
If you dont think so how are those Automatic AUTOMATIC disbanded lobbies, heavy SBMM, and 15+ aiming and sensitivity settings you change every week , treating you in those Modern CODs? lol.
Did Adler really kill stitch?Idk I don’t want to assume since that shot sound for did it sound like an 1911
What editing software do you use ? And how many years under your belt ?
Warzone 1 ( Mission Succes )
Warzone 2 ( Mission Failed )
Warzone 3 ( Mission on the way )
Actually people Still arguing about Thick rate and Matchmaking system but Belive or not warzone 1 also has that stuf and no one complaining, which mean warzone 2-3 Is actually not bad and not even bad at all its solid game no one game can Replace it but Why we hate it is because we already taste the godly game like Warzone 1
Less people playing multiplayer now😢😢😢
I’m pretty sure years from now we will look back at modern warfare 3 and talk about how great of a game it was we always do this we always think things from the past are so great when the current product is just bad that’s just how it goes with anything though not just video games
the only dumb decisions being made are letting SHG make games, and killing off DMZ for a wack version of zombies.
Only someone with zero self-respect would enjoy that
@@HULK-HOGAN1 imma have to say l opinion because you wrong
Yes and no. It was fun and cool, but movement bs, and sweating has been a massive issue
I think they should make warzone a different game with its own cosmetics and return multiplayer to the old classic state
Been burned too many times to get back in that kitchen.
i think warzone made this game to be at a worldwide level . it was very known in na , but low in europe , now is worldwide phenomen
Are you going to do a room tour? I would love to see that.
Yo look!! It's the guy from Galactic Scoop!
😂😂😂😂
Warzone and gunfight definitely brought fresh air to the franchise in mw2019 imo but warzone 2 ruined it and they have had to scrape it back together smh
The problem with call of duty is that whatever success they achieve, they have to streamline it and make it a standard
YAY I am the 1000 LIKER 💙🥵🥶
1:09 Didn't call of duty was hero shooter WAY before overwatch come out?
The craziest part is they don't even have dope bundles anymore their all just bullshit. WZ1 Cold War integration had the absolute coolest bundles.
Og warzone was huge because it released while everyone was locked in their houses.
can we not forget in mw3 makarov looks like abezy
Server always problem.. I always get high latency and packet loss in warzone
i aslo feel like the 'free dlc maps' is a big scam because now a days they just release the base game with fewer maps
The problem with COD is yearly releases. Sometimes it’s just too much. I usually get a COD every other year
Tdawg what happened to your vid about vanguard
It’s going up on @bostonbreach page!
can we all acknowledge blackout was WAYYY better than war zone
Not to mention everything I bought in warzone 1 I’ve lost
People hate change warzone and verdansk definitely elevated the game saved us during lockdown it came with alot of amazing features a brilliant map and the resurgence with an amazing remake of rebirth island. The ruined it with caldera
I hate that major story elements are in warzone and mp
I don't bother with story add-ons in multiplayer. It's cheap trash. MW3 basically has no story, so it's half a game. That's why the entire industry laughed at COD at award shows this year.
I wish Call of Duty would add more of the game's soundtrack to game play. It's a very nice one.
With war zone I just wish they sold separate skins with actual military outfits like Soviet Union or Vietnam outfit…
it came out at a great time; during COVID when many were stuck inside at home.
yeah the cod mobile comics have a long ass running story and stories
Also, streamers and camping ruined the game. Everything is meta/exploits and other feedback that causes the devs to change the game. It was simpler time before this and people played their own way and weren't playing like every match is ranked
Warzone ruined cod in the fact that it made it the focal point of what call of duty actually is and what we knew it for. It took it over
Hot take: Warzone is not fun anymore
im with you
