    Listening to your teachings Ira is one of the seminal experiences of my life.
    I have noticed that as I turn my attention towards my body in particular my 6th and 7th chakra, the appearance of my body and of the world itself changes. It really is just the One
    I am forced to conclude that I Am That
    I don't share these experiences with anyone in real life because I will be misunderstood/ I often feel lonely because no one understands and most anyone would not care even if I tried to explain.

    Thank you so much Ira for your time, energy and knowledge sharing. I'm from India and very much interested in Vendantic teachings. The way you explain this complex subject in simplest words is phenomenal.
    I'm sure you're a reincarnation of an Indian monk. Grateful to you! 😊🙏🏽

    This topic is new to me, I don’t know how ended up in your TH-cam channel, this whole process began when I started asking about the truth, I watched Ira and a few days later I had a dream; I am in a shopping center, talking to three individuals, one of them is a lady and as she is talking to me, I come to the realization, I recognize I was dreaming. I said to myself ; wow, I am inside my own dream, I looked around and witnessed how I was literally creating and witnessing everything. As if I simultaneously produced content, context and the observing, like somehow I do and am everything. For example the shopping center, the three individuals in front of me, their voices, the scenery and the whole narrative. I said to myself, wait, if I am clearly in a dream and I am the entity that creates and witnesses everything and everyone in the dream, including myself then where am I ? What am I? Can it be that I am both the movie and the witnessing?
    After having this dream I started searching for Ira, I wanted to know if he teaches, but I was not able to find him, if anyone talks to him let him know his transmission is strong

    Ira, thanks for Mandukya this way; summer in Bad Meinberg would have been good too, but the current circumstances probably determine differently ... So thanks for this way, it means a lot to me!

    A good talk expressing the true knowledge or our direct experience. Hard to get but totally simple. Once you see it you wonder how you ever missed it. This is a clean expression. No self aggrandizement, just the fact. Thanks.

    Swami after thinking and meditating to your talks for a long time I came to the conclusion that after you move out all objects the Self is identical to the deep sleep. Not even been known the existence of his own Self…like an infinite field that goes forever in void beyond time or space…the only thing that keeps it deferent from nothingness is its eternal existence… so in one sense you can say we all are that Self…that field…that we are all in an eternal perpetual existence that will last in infinity… off course my thinking is limited from my mind and brain… but the conclusion I am trying to see here is that the knower of that conclusion is the one that realizes that he is immortal “Self” that always somehow or somewhere he will be the Self…that is how I am coming to your saying “I want to live happy forever” the thing I have difficulty to grasp is how “sat, chit, ananda” can be felt in deep sleep… I will appreciate if you comment if I am in the right thinking or I have gone the wrong way… your opinion will be welcome appreciate and help me to my eternal quest for finding the truth that I am searching passionately for many years…. Greetings from Athens Greece…Panos…..Om

    The question that comes to me is… in deep sleep we don’t have awareness about anything… but why the Self isn’t aware of he’s existence as Self? I am not aware on anything but my existence… I don’t see anything I don’t feel anything but I exist … I hope Ira will answer this… greetings from Athens Greece

      You ask, ‘ why isn’t Self aware of His Existence as Self’?
      Vedantic Answer: The Self is never aware of it’s own existence or anything else’s existence. (Pure Consciousness needs a mind to be aware of anything) This Self is Non Dual. Nobody can knowIt and It can’t know itself or anything else. The whole problem is ignorance. When that’s gone, then you remain as That Consciousness that is Liberation.
      ( I probably haven’t answered your question completely, but perhaps something to think about.)

      @@iraschepetin2736 Swami I was thinking a lot your answer… Vedantic answer says “The Self is never aware of it’s own existence or anything else’s existence.” So I assume that the Self exists like a deep sleep, (and probably not very different from my deep sleep????), If that is true then the question that arises to me now is this… how someone that is been liberated and remain as That Consciousness can feel anything in that stage (including the liberation and freedom of he’s self) if he has to embrace the deep sleep that never gives no information about anything…. how to know something including THAT IS TO BE KNOWN whille you sleeping? (sorrry for my messed up language in not an American) om

      @@AN1KETOS This is a big discussion and I think whatever short Replyi give, you may not understand or accept.
      No one ever gets Liberated and remains as the Self. There is only the Self.That’s all there ever was, is, or will be. What we call Deep sleep is the Self. It’s not a state of the Self, it’s the very nature of the Self it never changes from its non Dual nature. . The Self that never knew duality at any time. That is the true deeper meaning of liberation. Liberation is the eternal nature the Self. Which never came in touch with duality or experienced duality at any time.

    How come waking state is private? Please explain

    • @iraschepetin2736
      @iraschepetin2736 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Just like your dream is private and in fact is appearing to you only, even though in the dream, the dream world is appearing as though it is ‘common’ to all the other individuals appearing in the dream world, - In the same manner your ‘waking state’ is private and in fact is appearing to you only, even though in the waking state the ‘waking world’ Is appearing as though it were ‘common’ to the individuals appearing therein.
      The only way to appreciate this claim is to view the ‘states’ from the point of view of experience in which ‘You’ refers to the ‘Witness’ of the whole state.
      I hope this helps a little. I doubt it. It not easy to take this perspective without the help of a Teacher . But if you can, you will be convinced that your Waking State is just as private as your Dream State. If you view things from the point of view of an individual in the Waking State then of course the waking world will appear as ‘common’ to many individuals.

    When you die in waking do you experience dream or sleep states after waking death? I only ever ‘seem’ to experience dream and deep sleep from waking and after those states. If I am waking dead... there is no experience and Vedanta ends with it? Or not? Please explain. I’m eager to learn...

    • @picsman03
      @picsman03 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      From what I understood, the body being an object in duality, it ends or “dies”, but the real Self is timeless and never dies. However that duality consciousness in which objects appear continues and soon identifies with another body, which also eventually “dies”. This cycle of birth and death continues endlessly, unless one wakes up to the experience of one’s REAL SELF. Advaita Vedanta teachings show one method thru which it is possible to reach that state. Vedanta is a teaching, so does it end in that experience ? Of course, ...all teachings , all objects end, there is nothing that is carried over into the state of non dual experience, or it wouldn’t be non dual !
