Can I ask you if the heater has a reset button? I cleaned my machine and water got into it. It works as before except the water is cold. Do I need to replace the whole machine? Thanks in advance and I hope your English is better than my German : )
I'm not aware of any dedicated reset button. I your case I would leave the machine opened to dry and try aagain later. If you have a multimeter you could also check the heating element for it's resistance. But I doubt the heating element is defective. My best guess is you accidently unhooked a connector on the main board of the machine and so the heating element doesn't get juice anymore. Or the small solenoid of the control circuit is faulty. PS: it could also be that the machine hasn't got enough water in the boiler and somehow recognizes this und there is something like a purge routine to fill the boiler up again. Kinda the way you have to pour 2 Liters of water into your brand new washing machine the first time you start it.
Maybe a smear of silicone sealant over the crack would also help

Hat noch ca 1 Jahr gehalten dann war sie an ner anderen Stelle kaputt und es wurde ne neue Maschine angeschafft.
