Tried everything else but on this model I pushed the bottom button 10 times (about 5 minutes) and it began working! Thanks so much I can now enjoy my mornings again! Happy New Year 2022!!!

IT WORKED!!! Took me exactly 10 minutes! You could also hear the sound of the pump/machine change as it was getting closer! I also banged the top and sides a little with the flat of my hand in case I was trying to dislodge sediment or grounds, and occasionally pumped the handle again. Thank you so very much! Yippppeeee!

Thanks! I just got one new in the box at an auction with a bunch of other stuff for $9 and thought the unit was bad, but your video fixed it! Yes, I still had to purchase a reusable pod, but with everything else in the box, it was still a deal even after having to buy the pod to fit it.

I tried all the other suggestions and although it did take me 15 minutes, IT WORKED!!! OH HOW YOU SAVED ME (and my machine, which was garbage bound) YOU ARE AWESOME!!! Bless you for sharing.
EASY FIX: I used my bicycle tire pump and held the air outlet to the water inlet (almost a perfect fit) then pumped twice and POP, my machine unplugged, and I immediately made some espresso. Such an painless fix!!

Thanks for mentioning the bottom milk button! I use my wine pump to get air moving in (saw it in the comments of another video), pumped the handle 30x (twice) and finally used the bottom milk button and got my machine working!!
What worked for me was giving the handle on top 5-10 pumps. But the best thing to do is to not let the water tank run all the way down to empty. Keep it topped up so that the pump doesn't run dry, which is when it jams.
I'm posting in case this method DOESN'T work for you, because I tried and tried, AND TRIED but it didn't work for me....(information gathered from other troubleshooting videos) The problem is the air pump needs "primed". One guy took the machine apart and used a turkey baster, USE THAT AS YOUR LAST RESORT. The option that worked for me was forcing air through the water intake (remove the water tank, the little round filtered hole on the machine is the intake). In that video she "sealed" the airway with duct tape, cut out a small hole, and using a bicycle tire pump (sealing around the nozzle with more duct tape and a towel) she compressed the pump a few times (forcing air through) and it worked. I did not have a bicycle pump, so I used my husband's air compressor with the air blowgun attachment. Eventually, I removed the duct tape and used the blowgun (and a towel) directly on the water intake. This finally worked. --- Thank you Suzanne for posting this video! It's best to try the least invasive treatment and work your way up. If I ever have issue again, I'll remember to start with your version.

Just pulled this machine out of the box after about 5 years and this totally fixed the problem!
Oh my gosh! I got this machine from a thrift store for $7 …tried everything and nothing worked until THIS!!!!
Pushing down HARD on handle, along with this repeatedly hitting milk button did the trick after several minutes.
