One of the last old school driving enthusiast cars you can still buy today. Turbo that makes power to redline, hydraulic steering, a dial to control drive modes, mechanical front and rear limited slip differentials instead of brakes mimicking the effect, and a manually adjustable electronic center differential that no other car offers (Evo is dead). I fear most of this goodness will be lost with the next generation.
And you were right, Subaru has killed the STI.

TestedXylophone yep I agree it’ll be remembered, it’ll be remembered for how ridiculous people behaved wearing masks and gloves thinking that they’re protected, talk about living in a bubble. I saw a guy wearing a mask and gloves driving his car with no one else inside.
He is wearing gloves because they match his tampon.

really wish it came like this from the factory. The expensive part isn't bolt ons, it's voiding the warranty on a brand new car.

I've watched a lot of these videos for a while now. First one I finished from beginning to end. That subie really suits Tedward and his driving style.
The EJ is by far the best sounding 4 cylinder imo.

Fjewt what boxer are you talking about ? It’s obvious the car has ELH installed and that will eliminate the famous boxer beat the EJ engine would have coming from the factory . The car now sounds like a WRX FA series .

Had a 04 STi new and within 2months every mod + bigger turbo, injectors. Light weight, lots of power and AWD w/o $$ was lots of fun and underrated.

what's up with all the Nissan drivers, 4 different nissans going nuts in the FL traffic on my way home. Of course 2 of them had smoked taillights and emblem..
One of the cheapest cars to lease/finance. Easy access for madmen behind the wheel. If you're being tailgated hard it's almost always a soccer mom, dodge ram, or a nissan altima/maxima.
Most Nissan/Infiniti drivers here in FL are black. I’m not sure why but I mostly see black people driving Nissan. And they drive like assholes too.

Ha! So funny.. I grew up in Weymouth. I used to work in Randolph and lived in Canton. I live in Cali now and haven't been back in years. Used to love driving my fast cars through Blue Hills! Just clicked on this video randomly and was like "Wait a minute.. is that???"

I live in Hyde Park and go to Chicatawbut Rd around 5AM in the summer. It's a really fun road then because it's totally empty, but after 6:30 or so it starts to get crowded and you have to take it easy like you had to here. I just wish it was longer like some of those canyon roads in California because it would be a lot more fun!

Yes! You can feel a semi bumpy road in an suv, but in the Subaru the same road feels like a rally course!
Compared to the WRX and STi people get confused by the base model Impreza 'Sport' sedans Subaru also sells. This car here is an Impreza.

Your right about the burble I'm younger I'm 24 and pops and bangs are good but like you said sometimes a little overkill so yed the burble I think sounds awesome especially when you let off and you hear the slight bbbbbb
