Hey Chelsie! Great video! Would love a video on why you chose your masters and what your plans for the future are? I'm planning on doing a medical law master after my degree also and would love to stay in academia and probably move into lecturing etc :)

Hi, I’m a sixth former wanting to do law at uni. We have to make our 1st draft of personal statements in the next two weeks, is there any chance you could do a video on what to include on a personal statement for law? Ik you have other similar videos like how to prep for law school but if possible could you dedicate a video to personal statements specifically? Thanks (very hard to talk about everything in under 500 words)
Bit late but I'm studying law in September, and for the first draft-don't aim for 4000 characters. That's impossible. Get everything down as if you have unlimited words and go from there. My first draft was a page and a half but I got it down. Also, for just writing, try writing down everything you want to put in and put how it relates to law or how it's helped build applicable skills for law. Hope that helps x

It's Problem based learning. It's the way we learn at York. You use a set of tools to solve a legal problem, rather than doing reading for a seminar.
