Passed the interview and I'm starting this October. The interviewer did ask me an interesting question at the end of the interview, it was along the lines of "if you could ask yourself one question, what would it be?"
Being an international student, I just went "what is it that motivates you to move out of your comfort zone, away from family and friends to pursue a degree?"

That sounds like a really good way of doing it, at Edinburgh we are told what to read, given a huge problem question, and then we discuss our answers in the tutorial. The approach here is sink or swim lol - love the videos, gives me motivation to carry on mine

Is commercial law an optional module at university of York I have already emailed admissions but I just want it to be confirmed? I love your videos they are so helpful
Thank you! ✨ Yes, commercial and company law were both options in my day. Options may change due to availability but I’d imagine they’d still be there as they were popular.

Did law firms often visit the uni?
yes, in first term around law fair time a lot of firms hold dinners and events and then throughout second term firms hold presentations and networking events. there's normally an official firm event every fortnight.
