Had the same problem. Crate LQ9 in a Toyota Land Cruiser. Purchased "genuine new OEM Delphi injectors" off of eBay. Spoiler alert... they were not OEM. Probably rejects as one stayed open and dumped fuel into cylinder 7 and when I turned it over it hydrolocked and sent the conn rod out the side of my block. Get a good set of flow tested and matched injectors. You will thank me later.
Driving the LJ around like that was probably one of the sketchiest things I’ve seen in a while haha super cool though! Glad to see the progress going along!

Glas to see that you're almost there with the swap! That little 5.3 will give you more than plenty of power for that little LJ. I love the LS series engines. I have the 5.3 Gen 3 iron block in my '01 Suburban, and the 5.3 Gen 4 aluminum block in my '10 Sierra 1500. Both have had a misfire at one time or another. The Suburban was just a fouled spark plug, which I had replaced them all, but the Sierra was a bad lifter which had ruined the cam. It's currently tore down and being cleaned and rebuilt as we speak.
Congrats on the test drive of your LS swap. I just completed my second LS powertrain from Novak. If you want your Cruise control to work make sure you get the correct Emulator from Novak E-TXCC. Fyi... the light on the dash for CC will no longer light up when on. Need to try a few times to know if CC is working. For the gad pedal i had to cut and weld the pedal to have the correct position when mounted.
When you convert to the Terminator Max you will need to install the OEM oil pressure sender for the terminator harness. Then install the gauge sending unit with a remote connection on the oil cooler block off plate. Just completed on my YJ conversion.

Pull out the long wood handle screwdriver stick your ear to the wood handle and the tip on a safe surface like head or pan you can hear what's going on in there

Now does the Gm computer interface with the jeep body computers and dash arrangements . warning lights ect. i/e is the outputs for the water temp oil pressure ect after it runs through the gm computer will the jeep gauges read it ? I know most of the GM outputs operate in the 90,ohm range.
Did you do the DIY High fender kit yourself? I see videos without it and then BOOM you have it. My question it the front of the fender and grille. how did you make it fit?
Please post about the oill pressure. I JUST rebuilt 4.0 7 oil pressure gauge problem when I stop it goes below 40 when I accelerate I check oil and got all oil I change sensors it still does it please tell me what the problem I face when you find out. Thanks Lamar
Paint is looking a little ratty. For your next series- tintable Raptor Liner. You can keep the cherry red, in a really durable finish you guys can do in the garage. As side note, a lot of guys drill the cylinders on LS engines for better oil return. Prevents a lot of wear. I’m not sure you’re hearing cylinder knock. But it’s a possibility

Maybe the video distorts the actual sound of the engine but....sounds like it's not firing on all cylinders to my ears. Also, when you showed underneath, you can see the exhaust pipe bouncing up and down while at idle.
I’m fairly certain it’s the tune. It’s a stock tune and the engine has a cam and no 02 sensors. As for the exhaust, it’s not finished so there is no support on the back

i have basically the same engine in my truck. minus the cam, and its loud. but it has a k&n intake and flowmaster exhaust.
