I think one of the coolest innovations of the Insurgency series is how they've managed to divorce your point of aim from the center of the screen when not ADSed. I think it would really work in a game like Tarkov since it captures the feeling of "point shooting" without some of the cheese of just lining up the center of your screen with the bad guys. Plus, it feels super cool with NVG+IR Lasers.

Final comment from me, for wall banging, it's pretty realistic in terms of weapon caliber. So higher caliber guns like the 50 cal can penetrate through concrete and then everything else can penetrate through metal and wood and some thinner concrete. So basically if you know someone's behind a wall just spray it unless you have a low caliber weapon like a pistol or SMG.
And I definitely think you should try some of the one-life modes especially since you were doing pretty well in domination. Push is honestly a fantastic mode and it's where the game really shines I find

Playing this game basically just running around with no gas mask, no smokes, no tactics, while still fragging out like that is a testament to this guy's insane reaction speed and aim.

I started out playing it like squad or tarkov and was terrible,the second i just started zooming across the map like cod without thinking it was much much better

Handler I have 4k hours in this game probably one of the best pc players and I can tell you playing like cod is the meta. This game is all about being aggressive with good movement and aim/reaction time. Having map knowledge also really helps but that comes with time. Nice video
Play like cod is not the Meta the game is purposely designed to play slower and tactically with slower movement speed slow reload speeds and lightingfast ttk . U definitely shouldn’t camp but u shouldn’t play like it’s cod either
@@rommelthedesertfox3089 ur talking to a top 5 player who also plays with the other players in this game who are around the same skill level. trust me this game gets repetitive and once you know the angles, the spawns and where the enemy are gonna be generally, you are shift + W most of the time, and then using ur skill and aim to get as many kills as possible its just how it is.
@@SunW4rri0r here’s the thing guys like u and handler are anomalies. Handler is just a god at fps so he can get away with it. But average or above average players don’t play insurgency like this. It’s just not designed for it. The fast ttk slow movement slow reload slow vaulting no kill indicators all point towards the devs wanting to make a hardcore tactical shooter

The nice thing about Sandstorm is how small the player base is. You can unexpectedly play with the same players multiple times and not be in the same party

sandstorm is easily my favourite fps and has been for a while, i would really recommend push/frontlines if you want the “true” experience, or defusal if you want something more tactical but less intense than the other two. Good shots!
I used to play this game a lot, the most fun I would have is running pistol only silenced Glock with or without sight, extended mag, with or without body armor for extra mags. You essentially go as minimal with the weight as possible, you end up being twice as fast as everyone else.

Ah the gunplay in I:S is just so clean. Such a shame it's dying out these days. I was absolutely obsessed with this game for the longest time- the grounded gunplay and atmosphere combined with the fast-paced CoD-style gameplay is just so addicting.
For me it’s the sound design. The reverb and muffled sounds of soldiers yelling in the distance, the shit talking the in game characters can do and the raw punchy nature of the gun shots are just perfect.
Also appreciate how intense the voice acting is for the game. Sounds like the people are actually getting shot at and some are downright terrifying sounding and panic in their voices is top notch.

@@rommelthedesertfox3089 If you're new to the game, yeah it can be pretty slow-paced. Put enough hours in and you'll learn that in order to keep up you've got two choices- camp and snipe, or outmaneuver.
Hardcore Co-op is a different story, in the right lobbies. Sometimes I'm down to play it slow and tactical if everyone else is doing it.
@@The4j1123 naw I’m somewhere in between I don’t camp and snipe but I don’t run around like it’s cod either and I can still keep up. Usually I’m at the top of my team. My playstyle is a mixture of running around and playing tactically when the situation calls for it

This game is tons of fun. I don't know if you tried it but the Ambush game mode is really good too. 1 life, one team tries to extract the VIP to one of two points, the other team defends.

For me it isn't the lack of a kill feed. It sucks that there is no audio or visual notifications of a kill.

I really enjoyed this video because especially in the first match you really sounded like you were having fun. Normally you sound pretty blase about the whole thing especially in call of duty but it's great seeing you stomp in😊 insurgency

everytime he reloads with 75%+ of his mag left I feel pain. reloads take a good second and it only takes 2-3 shots at most to kill someone with ARs- and he only played Domination :(
