So do apartments. You pay for it one way or another. The landlords will build that cost into the rent. One exception maybe being rent control where the landlords will just let things fall apart.
Double entry accounting is 700 years old. Accounting could have been mandatory in high schools for girls and boys since Sputnik. What would that have done to the economy by now. Maybe men and women should concentrate on competing against corporations instead of each other.

Single women will be the ones most likely to be ignorant of how to do their own repairs so they have the additional expense of having to pay a small fortune to have professionals do basic repairs. I'm single and no it's not cheaper to rent, at least not around here where the smallest apartments are now starting at $1250/mo. A small home can still be purchased for less than that. The only time it doesn't make sense to own is when people don't plan to be in place for very long because of closing costs.

Unimagineably disgusting places, I've seen them firsthand. where do I start...
cat hair all over, nasty cat smells, stained & smelly carpet, half-painted walls that will be painted "soon" "next month" , cat-scratched torn furniture, cat scratched windows so bad you can't see out of them, laughably faulty overloaded electrical systems "just flip that breaker off and back on several times" lol, septic and/or plumbing is badly screwed up - sewer gas can be fatal, radon? Do they even care about radon?, chronic bug spider roach infestations, all kinds of mold & mildew, visible black mold, water damage/rotting wood, porous leaky roof will get fixed "next month", windows and doors that do not close or even lock properly, faulty smoke alarms if there are any working smoke alarms at all, raccoons and possums in the yard, feral cats, feral dogs, likely a hoarder, & the place is always a mess, trees need to be trimmed very badly - low hanging branches scrape cars that drive by daily - some branches scrape the side of the house lol , overgrown weeds everywhere, lawn is always overgrown, leaves never get picked up, rain gutters are always clogged, I could go on and on. Shorter list would be what isn't wrong?
I'm a landlord and I occasionally rent to women. They are slobs. They don't take very good care of the place. The bathrooms are disgusting.

Bros I visit the uk regularly and it shows how much we get shafted by our US government
In the UK the government pays for community centres, health care, etc
Their taxes actually go to something, gotta start putting more pressure on your local government
But they don't pay for dentists, do they?
When a man buys a house, his female relatives start to see him as "marriage material" and start to set you up with their friends.
Holy crap. That happened to me! I used to be broke, and my cousin wouldn't set me up with her hot friends. Now that I own my own house and have money, and they're not hot any more, she's throwing these busted hags at me left and right and then saying I must be gay when I decline to entertain her whamalo friends.

Houses require maintenance.
So do apartments. You pay for it one way or another. The landlords will build that cost into the rent. One exception maybe being rent control where the landlords will just let things fall apart.
Everything requires maintenance.
The question is can you afford it.
Double entry accounting is 700 years old.
Accounting could have been mandatory in high schools for girls and boys since Sputnik. What would that have done to the economy by now. Maybe men and women should concentrate on competing against corporations instead of each other.
You can't have your slaves learning accounting and finance. If you do, they'll end up taking high ranking positions in kingdoms and then use that power to take over the banks, then they'll be starting wars to make money, controlling the weather, and who knows what else they'll do..
Woman have no ideas how much work a house is . Good luck ladies 😂😂😂 . My profession caters to these women and we make a fortune from them

i honestly dont care , my issue is they make it seem as if its a competition between men and women, the fact is most men dont think about buying a home until plan on starting a family , where women buy homes for themselves ...home ownership is a great thing im not hating on these women at all, its just men and women have 2 different mindsets on the matter
9:20 On what planet ?
You're talking about maintenance and repair. These girls, and many lame dudes, blow so much money on landscaping, pool guys, paying people to put up lights and nonsense like that. All un-skilled labor they're paying way too much for, but they can't be bothered to put in an hour or two a week on their "investment."
Yawn trolll, you know you ain't skilled enough to do that labor

you buy a house to live a lifestyle. I own 10 acres and have a 40 X 80 barn that I work on stuff. I do most of the work on my house. Blah Blah Blah. It cost about $5K a year to own a house on top of insurance, payments and taxes. The appliances last 10years, bathroom last 10 years and a kitchen last 20 years. Owning a home is a wash like you said. Your 100%.
Top form Cappy is when he morphs into chic mode.
I really agree with Dave Ramsay on home ownership. No more that 15 year loan. 5 is better... And if you are not going to be in that home for at least 5 years you are better off renting.
Naw
@@hardeez1 Compelling argument
Ya, I've always figured 5 years is a good rule to go by.
By that logic, nobody in Canada will ever own a house. Not saying I disagree with you -I don't. It's just that bad trying to purchase one in Canada!
@@Marcara081 Canada is a pretty broad term. Do you mean Downtown Vancouver, or Simpsons Corner Nova Scotia? For example. House prices are nuts, but the above advice stands if you don't want a house to become the thing that hurts you the most financially over the long term. I highly recommend building a small house on land you own. I am in the process of building a new house, 780sf (on land I already own) and the cost (In Canada) will run about 115k, with septic system, well, power, etc etc. I think this is a good plan for young people as smaller houses, will always have a market for younger people that want to buy a house, but can't afford the chipboard McMansions. Take cappys course on Minimalism for more info! :)
In my circle ,more single 50 year old women own homes,an no they didn’t get it from divorce ,as a matter of fact ,they left their lame boyfriends or husbands an bought a house because they were tired of renting with their man ,the women make more money ,and my husbands friends rent or live at home with their moms ,yup 50 year old men still living home ,so this is bull-sh-t clip ,lol

Question how high % wise does the bank own of those houses?
If you're talking about financial equity, it's about 0%. Due to the wonders of fractional reserve banking, banks don't have to have money to lend money. They just conjure it out of air.. and then charge you interest on money that doesn't really exist.

During marriage women provide HOURS of free labor every few days. The divorce settlement is, basically, partial back pay.
And do men also provide free labour as well as paid labour to provide for the woman? Yes. Yes they do.
And husbands do ALL the home improvement/maintainance for free because even bedroom "fun" is mostly never happening.
Mom outsourced all the chores to us kids for free. Dad did all the car maintenance, electrical work, mowing the lawn, plumbing,
Maybe in the 1800s housework was hard. But now?

You don't even go into construction quality. How many women know what to look for when buying a new home, in terms of construction quality and materials? I'm not talking about granite countertops; I'm talking about subflooring, insulation, electrical capacity, etc
They do seem to know a lot about crown moldings though. I guess that's what Buffy from the country club was talking about.
Women prefer apartments to houses because then they can just call someone and complain when something breaks. But then again, more apartment buildings prohibit smoking, cats, and the neighbors complain when they hear the spinster cry herself to sleep at night.
