my issue I'm having is that when I add the filter I can't rescale my webcam by itself, it scales the whole thing together, so I cant resize my face inside the filter
Add the filter to the SCENE not the WebCam. I made the same mistake.

Im trying to do this and everything up until the rescaling of my face is working. It's combining the camera and filter as one and not rescaling it as an individual filter

AMAZING tutorial - I'm running into an issue when it comes to rescaling. I'm grabbing the bound box (after clicking my face) but it's resizing the entire scene, in other words I can't zoom out on my face.
You can also just do this in Paint without having to go through a website lol
Open Paint > Make the background black > Make a white circle > Save

So when I followed all the instructions it cam up but the black background did not vanish I have the circle but it's balck all around it did I miss something? And it is a PNG I double checked

I followed all the steps but the image of my face turned dark. Like the image is faded.

I did this without having to make a new scene, Just made the shape and added it to my camera filter already in my scene. and I got the same result. But I am wondering if there is any advantage to making ur own specific scene first?

I did the same mistake : your circle in Canva is probably not white. You might have clicked on a light grey without noticing.
