I lost my dad on 2 days before the New Years (1 years, half months maybe?) right in the front of my eyes. He collapsed and suddenly some yelling and need some help, then I go outside to what happen. When I see someone go inside my dad's workplace, I go inside and I was shocked when I saw him already dying. Then I took my dad to the hospital, and the medical staff took him to the emergency room to help my dad. 30 minutes later, the doctor told me that my dad just passed away and I was crying in shock and it brokes my heart and said 'God, why'd you take my dad away? I didn't prepare for this kind of situation.', and after that when I go to see my dad bodies, I just said 'Dad, why'd you leave me? I'm sorry for everything I did to you!' and then kissed my dad's forehead. I still blame myself for his death until now 'cause I feel like I'm being troublesome to my dad.
When I talk to friends on phone, she told me when she talk to my dad my dad she said it to me like 'When I talk to your dad, he always talk about you that you're a good guy.' and I said 'I might be a good person when I show my good side, but I feel like I always show him my bad side. My dad's died because of my fault.' she reply 'Stop blame yourself, it's not your fault. He may be gone, but he'll always look after you in there! He's really loves you, like the other dads did to their sons.' then I feel my chest like being pushed and started to cry. That time after a couple of days I mourned to my death's dad, I feel like I should let him go and let him rest in peace. Everytime I go to my dad's grave or talk/think about him, I'm still crying 'cause I really miss him, even if its already longtime ago. My best memories with my dad is when he always took me (just two of us) to go to somewhere else with a motorbike and have some fun.
Rest In Peace, Dad. I love you!

The best thing is to turn the page. I lost my dad 3 months ago, and it still hurts, but he died while at work, doing what he loved to do, he had a family, friends and kids. My dad was an awesome person, lived a fulfilled life, and i dont think he would like me to stay in the past and continue to torture myself with those memories. Cherish the memories, but don't let them define who you are

My uncle died the same thing and he had all my pictures laid out to stop him, but it didnt. We believe it was accidental, he fell asleep with the gun in his hand an a movement killed him. But remember, they ALWAYS loved you. Even in that time.

VR, and especially VRChat are such amazing platforms. It lets people share their stories, and actually be heard, with very little pressure compared to real life. To able to vent, give advice, meet new people, and be completely foolish like you never have is awesome. Also, I've seen VR used in retirement homes to great effect, allowing the residents to travel, to still experience grand new things. That's one reason I bought a Quest. Maybe I can take it around (once it's safe obviously) and try to improve peoples lives, even if it's just a little bit.

I love these videos so much. I feel like a lot of stories these days are highly anecdotal - extraordinary situations happening to perhaps extraordinary people. Maybe it's for the shock, awe and novelty, but it's easy for me to grow aloof. These videos.. it seems so much more real. Ironically these silly avatars and the anonymity of VRChat makes me trust that no post-editing or FX tamper with the storyteller and his/her message.

I doubt anyone will really see this but I've just been like binge watching your vids these past couple of days. There's something so wholesome and cathartic you have going on. On another vid I saw them mention that there's a nostalgic quality and I agree with that too.
Recently I've been going through a fairly rough emotional spell and i think it's vids like this that are so wonderful. Honestly the community you've gathered together is so wonderful and wholesome, especially seeing people come back. And you're unafraid to befriend and listen to people who are much younger or much older than you. And you listen and let them each share their stories, which it's so brave for each of them to be willing to talk and then doubly so for them to be willing to let you put this on the internet.
I just wanted to share that what you and your friends are doing is great and I hope it continues. I'm happy I found this and I am happily subscribed.

damn, hearing him talk about how he blamed himself for his father's death and how he only wants to make him proud - it made me imagine how his father would have reacted to hearing that from the afterlife. when I get intrusive thoughts that's one thing that keeps me grounded. imagining how it would hurt my loved ones.

I love all your videos and they always just bring so much emotion, but I haven't cried because of one in a while and ahhhh this time I was just sobbing. And then my nose bled. This just hit so hard because I can only imagine having a spring break like that or being a dad who's so supportive and went through so much and try to fix yourself, it sounds amazing. And the part where Knobby talked about his dreams where he just felt dread and thought he wouldn't make a good father? I've been having dreams where I just go to amazing places with my parents and people and fun things surrounds me and I still just feel so alone and just this fog of dread follows me everywhere. And when me and my friend talked about kids I thought about if I were to be a parent and that scares me so much because I'm already afraid of doing something wrong around someone younger than me that might influence them or just make them resent me, and my mother is a good mom but sometimes she just gets to mad and scary it causes me so much stress, and I'm already terrified that I might seem that way to my friends so I have a child and make them feel miserable or scared of me I would never forgive myself. This is probably my favorite video so far, it just made me feel so many things at once, it was kinda beautiful

This channel, especially this episode has made me realize that I have to support my family , and now after realizing that these people find happiness with the people who support them, I feel the guilt I have as a mean older brother and I realize now that I must find a way to be more supportive for them and show them that they can do whatever they want as long as they’re happy .
Edit: thank you Syrmor for showing these peoples struggles and how they get through it, thank you

  • @MaximasX

This was probably the hardest soul bearing story for me to listen through on this channel. Tried really hard to resist crying, and I know why too. I love my dad. Not only that but I see how hard he works for my family to build and fix up what we need. He does so much of it on his own and I wonder sometimes how he would manage any of this if I wasn't around to help sometimes. And then I remember that I wouldn't even be around (home) if I actually did good in college and was able to get a better paying job out of town, being able to live on my own. I add up all these things that I failed at in my life and it hurts cause I just want to be a success and make my dad proud of me. I know he is. I know that he is. My mom tells me all the time how he brags to his co-workers that I'm working at the same University he teaches at (he's a lecturer and I'm in the I.T. department), but I can't stop thinking about how much more he'd be proud of me if I actually got my life together the first time. Life isn't over for me yet, but I really hope one day I'm able to do something worthwhile with my life so that I can really step back and say "yeah. I did good", and know my dad is happy with how far I've come.

I wish i could share my story with this man.. I can literally relate to this man on another level it's crazy how someone across the world you don't know could go through something almost the same. probably the hardest part from my healing journey was realizing that it wasn't my fault. People don't know how much strength it takes to recover from that kind of abuse, To anyone that went through something similar I'm really proud of you for being so strong.. Even though i don't know you.
