Just a little tip as well, as a grenade vet one trick, i recommend changing "demo stockpile" for "demo team" once you get into havoc especially 30+ let alone 40, demo team is by far the highest grenade generation node veteran has access too, good luck brother!

Having a Braced Auto also means that you could get one with Stripped Down, which granted is giving up some good blessings, but hear me out. Since you're already building towards the bottom right end of the Skill Tree you could pretty easily grab Duck and Dive, which combined with Stripped Down just lets you quite literally run into hordes of Gunners. It's perhaps one of my favourite niche builds just because as long as you have 50% stamina you can just completely invalidate one of the biggest threats the game can throw at you.
My very first infantry autogun build actually uses Stripped Down + Duck and Dive. This build already messes up gunners with Infiltrate/suppression so I feel it's a bit overkill to invest into. Very fun blessing combo though!
Idk, I stayed with plasma gun with power sword just to knock out enemies faster. It's not hard to stay alive so long as the team knows what they are doing. I used other builds to see if they'd fit. Some do, but to really knock out bigger targets that usually you get swarmed in maelstrom auric, the only mode I play, plasma and power sword are just the best option for vets
