though I had some problem with sea water It also th-cam.com/users/postUgkxa-FNYUOM93a388gi9a4brtSCEVmrHgJH land for finding any things very easily. (thought it would work as normal due to it being water proof within certain parts of the detector), on dry land and sand worked well. My first one, so still have lots to learn

Hi Fabian, I am always adjusting due to EMI on that beach. WiFi is everywhere. Wet sand I am usually at 20, in the water with waves I need to drop down to 18.

I use a tumbler and also a dremel on the very crusted stuff. I haven't used the Coiltek so not really sure. Best of luck!

Love it! Even the bullets. I found one when I was there 2 years ago, and my friend assured me it's the exact same caliber bullet as the one still stuck in his back from when he was shot in the war. Goosebumps!

11:38 a common practice around SEA, so when I stayed in Thailand I bought a 22k bracelet and necklace. Luckily I didn't run out of cash and and I still have the bracelet and necklace.

Great result mate. That 18K ring as you held it up had a stamp underneath the stone. Think you missed that. Would also be great to see all the cois in a bit more detail, after all, most of us detectorists chase coins.
Cheers Dave, sorry I meant to say no karat stamp. I could see a stamp but it was a vietnamese word, perhaps the jeweler. Will put more emphasis on the coins in future hunts. 👍
Binge watched all your videos. We have been to Vietnam many times and stayed in Danang a few of those times. We also have a metal detector but have not had much opportunity to use until now. My wife is looking forward to retirement with me and traveling and detecting. Keep up the good hints.

Apparently waterproof to 5 metres , also supposed to be the most powerful on the market , how have you found the new detector you bought and started testing in Aust

It depends if you are going to hunt in the water or not. But for the price the Equinox 600 is a great machine.
