Best day for gold so far in 2020. Managed to dig up 3 gold rings, including a 24k 99.9% ring. Also plenty of silver and coins.

@@BeachPirate see I could spend hours on the beach or in a field looking for odd old objects like pipe stems ECT... I too have an equinox but 600 and get engrossed in treasure hunting... I guess it's the type of person I am, that's probably really boring to most but me and my kids love it.

Wow what a mess! Mega storm. When were allowed to travel, we will be heading up your way and to Thauland, Singapore, Malaysia and maybe Bali. Do some sweeping and underwater detecting with my Nemo3. Would be good to catch up with you minus the zombies lol.

Good job , I've noticed quite a bit of channels that have many hours dedicated to the hobby not get the recognition in terms of subscriptions . Not sure why , other than possibly the TH-cam video market is saturated by newbies like myself lol . It's always nice to see videos like yours that say the vdi numbers before you did targets . Hi Wendel, the big coil is good for the quiet days when you are searching for patches. After storms I like the smaller coil and set recovery setting to 6 to find the treasure amongst the trash. The 15" covers a lot of area, and you will notice the extra depth. But will also reduce your recovery time due to pinpointing difficulties and extra weight.

Wish I had a beach to hunt on!! The Mississippi River has no beaches near me, only alligators & water mocassins!! I can deal with the alligators, but not the mocassins (been bit by 1 once!)

9.86 total grams of 14K is $333.66 and 1.88 grams 24K is $110.30 Estimated using online gold prices calculator. $443.96 Total for the 3 Gold rings.

Oh my gosh I recently bought a sewing machine and a box of accessories that went with it at a yard sale and inside one of the containers was a gold tooth I to was creeped out so my girlfriend took it to the jeweler and got $50 for it so don't discard the teeth they could be worth something. good video nice finds!!

What settings do you use on the beach if you don’t mind me asking?
Hi Neil, I am using Beach 2, usually recovery 5 but bump it up to 6 when there are lots of iron targets. Sensitivity usually around 20, 50 tones, all metal.

I really enjoy your channel you find some very cool stuff. I also use the Nox, but have had coil ears snap on 2 of my coils. Are you using the the standard coil fasteners from Minelab. Or do you have any suggestions. Very frustrating as the coils are quite expensive. Thanks
Hi Nate, I have not had this problem. But the coil does get loose and floppy. I use coil spacers from Detect-Ed. Minelab should cover the coil under warranty right?
@@BeachPirate yes they they replaced the coil under warranty 1st time it happened, unfortunately warranty ended. This is the 2nd coil it's happened too. It's a shame because the coil still works, I just have no way to attach it. Thanks for the reply, I tried a coil stiffener which is supposed to prevent the issue but to no avail.

I am curious about one thing. How do you make sure you are safe when you go treasure hunting? I saw in one of your videos people following you for about an hour after a find. I would be scared of people following me. How do you know they are not dangerous/ might beat you up and steal your finds? Genuine question. I'm interested in starting with treasure hunting myself.

Maybe you can give me some honest advice...i lost my ring in my front yard 100 percent sure of it. I had one of the ring finders come to search and he couldn't find it. I purchased my own metal detector and plan to try on my own. Do you think theres a chance his just wasn't working right or maybe he stuck it in his pocket when i wasnt looking? Wouldn't a metal detector have found it if his was working properly?? Thanks if anyone is able to reply.
