Just discovered Antonia.. I have been studying Russian casually for a few years but never in the depth that I wanted. These videos are really well done. They are the right pace and she is explains in a very effective way.. Good job and thank you.
The best video I've found about Russian adjectives . a whole week I was searching for it. Thank U so so much for the best detailed teaching. Just keep this perfect tutoring ❤❤❤❤❤
I learned the russian adjectif endings in class but it was so badly explained that I didn't understand it. Then I read several explanations on websites but it was so badly explained that I didn't understand it. Now I saw this video and it was so well explained that I finally got it.
My mind did not spin at all when watching your wonderful video. My mind now has a clear understanding of how Russian adjectives are being used. Thank you very much, Teacher1
Большое спасибо!!!!! My head is still spinning like crazy, and I think I'm gonna have to replay this vid several more times! Nevertheless, your explanation is clear and crisp!
i enjoy watching your videos althouth i'm italian, they are very well made. Now i'm gonna go through this one over and over again until i learn these adjectives endings. you're a remarkable teacher
Hi, thank you so much for having this channel. Im learning russian and honestly i can only understand better after watching your channel. You explain this very thorough and at a right pace. Please continue this amazing channel!!!
Very well explained! Thank you for this. This is very difficult for English speakers because there is no equivalent concept in the language. Adjectives don’t change depending on the nouns it precedes. Native Russian speakers probably don’t even think about these differences they just know them inherently similarly to how French speakers know innately if a noun is masculine or feminine. However to think of these rules as one speaks is an enormous challenge. There are a lot of “if this… then that”. But this video is a great step in helping to figure that out. Thank you for your hard work.
Thankyou very much for this explanation, i am a beginner so i am trying to understand the grammar before i learn more vocab, and this really helped me!
Appreciated. Looking for the videos declining the cases you mention at the end, but can't see it. That would be very helpful. I've just learnt the case endings. Head spinning as you say! Would appreciate some help there.
Wow, that was an excellent explanation. The text I am using describes the declension of adjectives differently and it was just not making sense to me. This explanation is so much more clear and I will study this instead, thank you.

Beautiful beautiful explanation Antonia- I was confused with the word СМЕШНОЙ. Somewhat I have an understanding of it but not fully. So help me out on this sentence: Ты очень смешной. Somehow I can't connect the word Ты to смешной. Please explain!
In a word like "Международный", is it considered a hard stem when the stem ends in a "дн"? Otherwise, I don't understand why this doesn't follow the second case for soft stems that end in "н". Thank you!
I just encountered another one - главный. I see that both of them have a Д or a В before the Н. Does that have anything to do with why they end in ыи rather than ий?
Nomative adjectivs #4. big, young, other, see.... I'm still lost. I thought that I was comprehending well but the last section there makes me realize that I still don't understand. :(
Hello, thanks for your response. It's just a question I've had, and I thought you might have addressed it in this video, but you didn't. So there's not a timecode. Thanks for any further help!
By the way, I was watching Daria's videos which were also nice but recently she made some comments about male students on her Facebook which I didn't like and I cancelled her because of her mind set about opposite sex students.
You did a better job explaining Russian adjectives than Daria at Real Russian Club did!
EXACTLYYYY I came to this channel when I didn't understand Daria's explanation, Antonia did a better job.

You realy help me thank you 🙏🙏
Thank you eventually i able to learn the adjectives.
Excellent explanation
This was very helpful!
This helped immensely! One question - is Н the only soft ending (and is Н always soft)?
Н is not always soft, it can be hard (like in the word сильный), you can see if it is soft in the dictionary, if the ending is ий then it is soft.
Great job 👌
Thank you!
This video helps me very much ma'am 😍

thank you very much!!! this very much helped alot
I realized I cannot predict the endings when н occurs in the end of the stem. For example трудный, ый. Синий, ий. What makes them different ??
Excellent.

Спасибо большое .

In a word like "Международный", is it considered a hard stem when the stem ends in a "дн"? Otherwise, I don't understand why this doesn't follow the second case for soft stems that end in "н". Thank you!
What rule do you imply?
Don't adjectives, whose stems end in "н", normally have "ий" for the masculine ending? Международный appears to follow the Hard Stem rule.
I just encountered another one - главный. I see that both of them have a Д or a В before the Н. Does that have anything to do with why they end in ыи rather than ий?
The н is not soft in these adjectives, if the adjective ends in н, it doesn't mean that the ending will be ий, н should be soft.
Very very gooooooood 👍👍👍👏👏👏🌼🌼🌼❤️❤️❤️❤️
