Man….I built a PC in 2020 from one of your budget builds. I’ve upgraded a bit since, but nonetheless….the computer ran great then and now. Very much appreciated. Thank you!
I wish I could tell you but I don’t play anything other than iracing and Acc. I typically would get around 80fps average on iracing on the original build.
I have been building pc for more then 10 years now . Everyone asks us to help after buying components . (We provide fee installation of components though ) your video was sooo discriptive and led to no doubts . This can definately help beginers to be confident and do it themselves .
That's a good compliment, but don't overestimate. Working in tech support for just over 3.5 years, no matter how "fool proof" or "dummy proof" you make something, there's always one person who manages to mess it up. you tell someone to click "ok" to install the software and they click "no" or "cancel" and then they're wondering why it doesn't install..
Lovely build. Intel is killing it and I love it. Makes me want to do a small upgrade from my 12400f and 5700 xt to a 13400f or even 13500 with the a770.
I really like this guide, very detailed. This is going to be my first time ever building a gaming PC and I never had a desktop of my own, only laptops. This is going to be my base idea 💡 thank you
Nothing beats building pc left and right, I could watch this until I sleep. Its my white noise. Thanks for sharing, make more please. (I suggest to make the video much more stabilized and some violin or piano music) As always, amazing!
Instead of the arc a380 I would recommend buying the rx 580. It is significantly faster than the arc a380 and the same price basically. If you are comfortable buying used the rx 580 is extremely cheap and amazing for the price.
Just wanted to ask, I am new to this stuff and I am trying to build my first PC, is it possible for me to replace the i3 with an i5 but still keep all of the other componants? Thanks a lot!
12100 in the WW channel is 14x more available than 13100 however both are slim volume where 12100 = 4% of Alder full run and 13100 = 0.007% of Raptor full line available today. Raptor volume in the WW channel is 40% of Alder and Alder is 179% more than Rocket and Alder is the same volume available as Comet SKUs in the WW channel. mb
A380 very few in the channel like 1.7% of all RX 6600 and 8.9% of all RX 6500Xt and 0.0028% of all 2070 and A770/750 are not much more BUT here's the news all the mid and bottom back gen just got dumped on because 3090/80/70/60/50 desktop and mobile WW channel available increased + 75% in the last three weeks so expect back gen price compression lot's of dGPU deals. mb
I wish I lived closer to a Microcenter....or I wish they shipped more options, but so many are "in store only". I want (almost need at this point) to do some upgrades but budget is going to be very limited. I almost need a new GPU at this time, and I noticed my RAM is also getting iffy on quite a few things these days (I have 16 gigs, but that is becoming the min you should have...8 gigs was min when I got this one 3 years ago it seemed). I can probably be fine with my current CPU, but there are some good deals on 5600/5600x which would be an upgrade from my 3600...and of course, some more storage, which isn't as big of a deal because I can find quite a few options for 1tb m.2's right around the $50 range. (I can probably skip the CPU upgrade due to my budget though)
for internet use can t u just download lan drivers of this motherboard from other computer in a usb stick and just plug it in after installing windows?
I built a i-3 10100f/1650 build in 2019. Upgraded to a 6700xt (won a new egg shuffle at release). It's still maxing my 170fps 1440p monitor. I can only imagine if I just upgraded to a new i-3/MB.
It is cool enough as is with the a380. Once you upgrade your CPU or GPU to something that consumes more wattage (produces more heat) then I’d add more fans.
Idk with this one but a mobo with two gold colour nubs coming out near the io port then it takes WiFi otherwise ethernet is your only option as far as I'm aware
where are the frame rates? /and please do a comparison video with 6500XT, GTX 1630, GtX 1650 and rx 6400 we wanna see Intel win against this gpus with frame rates this time please ❤️
@@ScatterVolt do you have any recommendation and its an old PC case will i need to change any cables or can i still use the provide cable case like the usb and fan

Only one system fan on the MB is a dealbreaker. Plus, out of 20 games tested, the RX 580 beat the A380 in every game except one. The RX 580 is cheaper, and you don't have to worry about stability issues.

Your step by step building videos are really unrivaled for being dummy proof. Great selections for that budget too.

i pu a 13100F for my spare pc
Dont do that. The a770 is only like 5% faster than the 5700xt
Don't bother. Get the MSI B660M MAX Mortar Gaming WiFi board. You can BLCK OC your 12400 to 5Ghz. Your 5700 XT is still great. :)

Where do you plug in the keyboard and mouse
Pls compare arc a380 with other budget cards.

Where's the bench marks I don't see the fps 😢

True. I’ll supply a fairly decent b660 motherboard in the description as an optional.

what would you need to buy for the internet?
How much fps do you get in Fortnite
What model is the arctic cooler?
What do you think about amd drivers now in 2023 as they had bad rep in the past
They’ve been good for a while now.
Hey ScatterVolt you should try the beta Dx12 mode for Intel GPU next time
Is there a reason why I should test with the dx12 beta?
Does it work well on PCVR
Now, do a Intel Core i7 + Intel Arc A770 16GB Build and compare it to this. Just to see.

Could I use the GIGABYTE B660M DS3H AX DDR4 B660 Intel LGA 1700 M-ATX instead? Would like to be able to upgrade to 32Gb Ram in the future.
Yes
Can you run two monitors
when i turn it on it goes to the bios settings page not to start up, it keeps going it
Can you use a triple fan graphics card that is still a pci express 4.0?
can i use a rx580 on this pc

check out boosted media he only plays racing games
Same as any other genre. The better hardware you have, the more well equipped you’ll be.
I’ve got a question. Could this run roblox? At max grapchis and if so at about how many fps
Could I use a different case? I just don’t want to get confused
You can use any case once it's the same size or bigger than your motherboard eg: itx motherboard fits in mid tower or bigger
I like that you are not afraid to use a "H" chipset motherboard 👍
Newegg has a new Thermaltake 500W power supply for $30 after $5 rebate, brand new w/ free shipping right now.
The best part is that Intel GPUs are 1st Gen, which are new, they are a bit unbalanced now but in the future they could beat AMD and Nvidia.
