That's right-He might fuss and find fault, but in his heart he is so Thankful to have you guys help out. Three generations right there together-can't beat that-
Tucker should be proud of the work he did on the bucket. That was a great result. Also getting more comfortable in front of the camera is good for him. I hope we see more from Tucker and the projects he gets. He is a fast learner.
Hi Tucker, your Dad would not have left you alone if he didn't have faith in your abilities. You always learn better by doing a job than talking about it.
I believe he had a air cleaner device (not sure of the official name for it) on his belt, located in the middle of his back, and an air hose leading up to the welding hood. The video footage of him welding the plate down.
@@Planeiron naw, not an idiot.., I saw it on him quite a few videos back. Good deal on getting him outfitted like that, this early in his career. Those things are not cheap, and it is just now that they are realizing the hazards of that off gassing.
I was a weldor/fabricator for 30 years. Tucker if you made any mistakes on this bucket you learned information that will help you do a better job on the next one. What I know today I learned by making a lot of mistakes in my early years. Always remember what you did right and GO AFTER IT SON!!!! AL B.😊
Congratultions Mr. Tucker - you made it work! (& not poorly) That's the whole object, plus you have some new experience for the next time. Very well done sir.
Tucker had a fun day of learning . Some projects you just got to go piece by piece and learn how to find your separation line in the welds to see how it was assembled for reassembly . Great job👍
Tucker you are doing a fantastic job ! It is never easy cleaning up someone else’s mess , but the way you are handling this situation is going great doing the total rebuild ! Your a brilliant young man and very talented never cut yourself short ! Have confidence keep up the amazing work !
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Tucker did a great job in this video, you can definitely tell he’s his own worst critic, should help him progress to being a top class welder. It takes a lot of skill to see where there is room for improvement, as long as you don’t get complacent you should go far. Wishing you and your family the best.
Please don’t be as hard on yourself Tucker, You just need some confidence in yourself which your dad obviously has especially when he left you in charge of doing that bucket, And I have to say it turned out to be a very tidy job indeed. Big Respect young man from Scotland.
Tucker, for a young man of your age and experience you are extremely accomplished in your skill set. I know others twice and three times your age who can't do half as good a job and have only half the work ethic you display. I admire you a lot, good job !!!!
Tucker, You seemed a bit worried about the mess but please remember something I had to learn 60 years ago " You have to make a mess to make something nice " and that goes for making a cake or building a boat.
Hello Clinton, Tucker did an amazing thing in today's video! He was standing at the bucket not knowing what to do and knowing you had faith in him to do it anyway and he did it. He started on one side and just kept going till it was done, proving once again "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree"! Well done Tucker,I had faith you could do it, all you had to do is start. Cheers from Canada. Eh.
Tucker would make a great heavy equipment welder, I have been watching On Fire Welding (@OFW). I think Tucker, if he wants to be a welder/fabricator, is on a great path.
Tucker, it is apparent your dad has confidence in your abilities. So what it he gets upset if you made a mistake. If you don't make mistakes, you are not doing anything. Instead, make it a learning experience if you did something wrong. Everything done incorrectly can always be undone. BTW; SMILE!!! Show the viewers what a nice looking young fellow looks like!
Nothing better than working with family in a family business you guys all get along great and your turnaround results with the equipment use work on and refurbish come out beautiful
Great job, Tucker. I know what you mean on talking on camera. I’m 71 years old and I still hate talking on camera lol. Thanks for sharing and have a great week!!
Tucker your doing just fine. learning and taking junk apart is as important as welding back together. this would have been as big a mess if dad did it, he has other stuff he needs to accomplish.keep going it'll be fine.
Tucker Good Job. Lots yet to learn but you have been blessed to have a great boss/dad that is paying you to learn. He allows you to make mistakes and LEARN. Enjoy it while you can. The real world is a life long job. added. Let alone have a cnc plasma table. If you dad was not a good businessman. He may have allowed you a bit more time. To manually layout the plate. It was not but in the last 5 or so years they have become a staple in most shops. Be good, learn a trade and make a great life for yourself.
Tucker is A M A Z I N G!!!! Great SKILL so very proud of him and the way he is coming tell him not to be so shy and to be proud of what he is doing!!!!! Love the video great job on the JD 755 bucket
Don't be so hard on yourself buddy especially if it's your first time it all comes with experience but you are learning something different and that's good you do good work keep up the great work
Tucker, I’m pretty sure that your Dad will be proud of you if you do the best you can do. Whether you did it the “Best” way or not doesn’t matter. Just do your best always and life will reward you! I cannot be more proud of my two sons! They tell me often that they must do their best. They do that every day, and are successful in life! With experience comes confidence. You ARE a very good welder already! Best wishes to you!
Great job Tucker you’re already a great welder…. One thing Clint is hours of work like that will make him a great future owner of C&C equipment… thats one tough air plane!!!
Tucker, your segment was as painful to watch as it was for you to complete. But we both made it through to the end. Congratulations on a good job and don't give up. Working and being able to describe what you are doing is not an easy task. It has been nice seeing you grow the past couple of years and we look forward to more of your work and commentary. Hang in there!!!
It is clear the call sign for the new plane needs to be UT OH! Funny stuff and thanks for sharing. Tucker is turning into one fine welder. WOW! I am super impressed.
I said before but sai it again Well done Tucker you are a master Well but you should be hard on yourself and you should feel proud you done an excellent job 👏 👏 👍 👌
He's turning into a very good welder and a valuable member of the team there, Clint, is our Tucker! So nice of you to dedicate so much of the video to him and his work. Good on you and many thanks for sharing as always
I don't think you realise just how skilled you already are. Tucker? That's a good thing. There is nothing worse than not being able to walk the walk. When I was your age I was tearing up the roads on motorbikes, no skills at all. Well done!
Tucker I love the way your dad is making sure you have the knowledge to go into your future with a good foundation. We are all so proud of you the man you are becoming.
I’m actually watching this entire video with tears in my eyes. Tucker, you have a great TEAM behind you. Not a boss but a team. A group of good people with a wealth of knowledge that is training you to so you too can be a master craftsman. Some of us had family members or people that taught us and would run us down for every little thing that they didn’t like only making you doubt yourself. You have a great dad that truly loves all his boys and would never let anything bad happen to you guys. He knew you enough skills in you to do this job and threw you into it. Seeing you all work together is the best thing I see on the internet. Being hard on yourself is good. It makes you think and question yourself and that will make you better at whatever you do. It’s arrogance and a bad attitude that will always land you in a heap of trouble. You are young, listen and learn everything you can from your dad and the guys in the shop and most of all stay humble. Nobody likes a wise guy, they tend to not last long. Shop humour and pranks is a part of the game and it makes the day go by a lot easier. Take it in stride because you too will do the same to the next new guy. You are doing an excellent job. 5:15 Bud... we all do. That is where we all start. I can tell you this much. Find the factory welds. Those are what you want to wash out. But there is nothing wrong with opening it up. What ever it takes to get your head wrapped around it. With time comes experience. With experience comes confidence. With confidence comes speed. Failure is an option.

Grab the situation, enjoy the learning. We're cheering for you!
Tucker, the fact that Dad handed you the responsibility of this project speaks volumes about his confidence and pride in you!
Tucker, trust what you've been taught. Learning will continue till you're older than you might imagine. You're doing fine, young man.
