I’d be confident you’ve seen this before, but you want to see a really experienced operator use this type of boring and welding kit to fix this type of stuff, see Cutting Edge Engineering Australia. Curtis is a genius with this type of stuff.

There are lots of guys that do nothing but line boring in the field.... Not new, and not complicated. And if you fuck it up you weld it up and do it again. There is no genius anything.
I did about 90% of our companies line bore work, they are an awesome versatile tool to have in a repair/ maintenance shop, and I loved to do line bore work. You can sure get creative when it comes to line bore up to and including blind hole and overend boring in line. That looks to be a great machine and looks to be fairly easy to set up and use. Thanks for the update, found it interesting to watch.
Hey Clint, pretty impressive never say never mind set. This is by far the best Ethiopian pet trick I’ve seen yet. You and Kevin have such a natural WTF thought process I’m just floored. That’s why I follow your exploits closely. Two thumbs up Bro!
The Air Guard uses our lake as a practice drop zone as long as I have lived here for 30 years. You get used to the C130’s but every now and then they slip in a C17 monster and it scares me off my JD mower and it’s diesel but that C17 shakes the earth with all those jet engines at full tilt.
I like the "Andrew Camarata" treatment re-bending the arm. 😂Looks like the new line boring tool is a success. This dozer will be an epic and challenging re-build for sure
I have to say that New Boring machine that you used to bore and true up those Pin Hole's is very unequal and Cool and that's the first time I've ever seen anything like that and Mr C &C Equipment Owner you truly are A very intelligent person and I like when you are explaining exactly what and how you are doing each and every project you are accomplishing and everything is very Professional and fixed right !
That line boring machine looks like a nice, quality “piece of kit”… Couple great design features that they implemented in it. Great repair…! Great video, Thank you sir.
When I was 21 I started working for the most contrary welder in Ireland doing all that sort of work cutting edges bosses and repairs I learned so much from him we worked together for around 15 years I loved the work
I was working on a repair services building's HVAC install, this was a large operation in CA that works on yellow behemoths and such. They had this VERY LARGE bay for big stuff. 2 overhead cranes, steel imbedded floors like yours, and 4 large work pits, they had 2 D9's and a D11 in the process of rebuilding . I was very impressed at that time. That's one of the reasons I subscribed... your shop, knowledge/professionalism , and your family/crew sealed the deal for me. In that big shop they had what looked like scaffolding but I realized it was part of the structure, inside of it was a giant excavator, the bucket, boom and front of cab , was straddled by it. At each location of a joint and bearing pin was a platform. At the first big top joint they had a line boring rig running, in welding operation. There were at least 10 people working on one part or another. This video reminded me of that. When your almost 70, it's nice to be able to remember things. Thanks !
Nice repair job Clint the new boring bar system sure looks well built next to the Chinese model, no wobble and quality of the cut is night and day. Enjoyed the video guys.
Yes My Friend C&C Equipment and I see that you Good Guy's has went and gotten yourself The Very Best Miller Welders that's ever been made and I always used the Big Blue Miller 400-D with the Deuce Diesel Air cooled engine when I was a welding supervisor and welding Foremen working for the Rail Road from Dallas Texas to New Orleans Louisiana and Shreveport Louisiana and Kansas City Missouri and Alexandria Louisiana and Baton Rouge Louisiana and the Miller Welder was a Work Horse and very Dependable welding Machine and very Fuel Efficient in All different types of Weather !
Thank you ( clint) I learned from you so much 😊 I just removed my other Dump front bucket cylinder on my 1978 Dynahoe Both were leaking seals 😊 When you say ( Greasing) so important. Because I greased pins often 😊 the pins came out like butter, when slack was put on Hydraulic cylinders. They drove out with small hammer sledge. Dynahoe put ( zerts) on that lower front bucket lift pin. Something I learned that Case Backhoe of the 1970s never put a grease zert on that lower pin. I asked the Engineers at Con-Expo Case both who were familiar with the Case 580-Cs of the time why not They said it did not need a grease zert. They said it would just get to much dirt on that lower pin. Just saying what that told me 😊
When it comes to coming up with unique ways to fix a a problem. I give you all a 💯 for theory and execution. The new line boring machine is exactly what you need. No more Chinese junk that wasn't up to the task. Great repair job, Clint. Now, put a sticker on the dash. Check fluids and grease daily. 😂😂😂.
Hey Clinton, Your new toy is amazing! Did an awesome job! Love your creative approach to straighten out the bent arm! Looking forward to more boring videos! Stay safe! Thumbs up! Jim

Good way to straighten a crawler arm and Randy and Kevin doing their thing what ever that is great new equipment you really needed it great video thanks Clint
I was amazed that using the weight of that Dresser , that mighty long pin and the subtle but really powerful hydraulics and their precise and delicate control allowed you to straighten that lift arm with a few lifts from the loader. Little time wasted achieving that goal! That line boring set up looks to be very good indeed and worked straight out of the box. Well done to all concerned, Dan
Oh yay another dozer with pin problems can’t wait to see how this one turns out why is grease such a hard thing to do don’t get people ruin a perfectly good piece of equipment just because they’re too lazy to use a grease gun but your just the guys to get it fixed up and paint it and it will be new once again great job guys
A bulldozer with a really strong winch and that thing.Oriented in the right placei.Guarantee the winds would straighten it out or as.Kevin would say untaco it😊
Great Repair Job! Reminds me of Waay Back when we use to take the Bucket of our 955L to fit our Home made Demo Boom which didnt do the Crowd Ram Seals any good 😆- But Needs Must before the Excavator became prevalent.
When you are centering the boring bar in trashed pin bores a good method for finding center is to sweep the outside of the pin boss with a dial indicator.
Really good work vending that one arm back! It would have been a real night mare to remove it and take it to a 50 ton press to get trued up again. Curtis over at CCE on utube has a really simple line boring setup. Keep up the excellent work fellas!
Love watching you guys how ya joke around with each other makes the day go by easyer. And have learned quiet a bit from you guys. Keep up the good work.
Nice work Guys I noticed Kevin gets more done when he is the paint shop by himself may you would get more production out of him if he works alone lol 😂😊😊😊
Really enjoyed the content Clint. The Italians make some great kit and it looks like you have got yourself a good one there. Thanks for doing this stuff, it’s great for us old guys who are almost as worn out as some of the machines you fix.
That is a great piece of kit, a very useful asset to the workshop, I guess it could be used out in the field if required too. Great video thank you for posting.
Alright! C&C Equipment Tuesday evening edition! Woo hoo! • Hey Clinton, be glad you've got track chains on that behemoth. Why ask about where the track pads are? Count your blessings and move on. 😋 • Yeah, that's quite a bend in that bucket boom arm. • That 655k is doing the heavy equipment version of walking around the driveway in her stocking feet. 😉 • Let the work begin! 👍 • Poor/lack-of maintenance plus farmer fixes = clapped out bucket connection points. Nearly toothless track chains romping around the yard with one track pad each. 😂 • I'm always amazed at the power of hydraulics. Absolutely amazing! 👍 • Thanks for the help, ol' Dresser dozer. 80,000 pound (36,000 kg) prybar. • Oooooo. NEW line boring machine, from Mauco Tools of Italy. Snazzy. • Interesting fixture you cobbled together to use that LBM. Y'all did some thinking and fabricating on that. Nice. 🙂 • Those cleaned up bores look pretty good. • Bushing installations. Those went pretty smoothly, especially considering all the parts you had to assemble on-site while the bushings defrosted. • All prepared and ready to go. Time for the return of the bucket. Pretty smooth installation. Better than new. 👍 • Clinton, you be nice to Kevin. He's fragile, and he has a sticker to prove it. 🤪 • Just watchin' the ceiling fan outro. Getting a little dizzy. 😵💫 • Great job getting the bucket boom arms straightened out and rebuilt, fellas! Thanks for taking us along on the adventure. 👍
I've used a lot of coil bolts on precast concrete forms not that you need it but...(there's always the" BUT") no pun intended. We drilled 1/8 inches holes in the center of the outside of the hex nuts and used the air nozzle to spin them on and off. I imagine it will work on standard threaded rod as well. Extremely bore-ing video!!!
Nice line bore machine! Like the 80,000lb pry bar too! You can make a dry ice slushy from dry ice and acetone. It not as cold as liquid nitrogen, but quicker and a lot colder than the freezer and will give a better shrink.
First off, thanks for the video, I found it extremely informative. I’ve never seen how wore out holes was bored out and built back up. And I don’t know how anyone can keep running decent equipment like that and continue to neglect the high wear points.
Gotta love those twist bends for moving across multiple axis of direction. Start with a straight forward outward bend, then twist it down and then bend it back in to gte that nice wave. Oh can't forget about the 'straightening' upward twist while pulling the nose of the arm inward. Shortening the lift arm by maybe a half inch or better which then gets semi-rigid connection to the other lift arm that get spring twisted. Setting the whole deal out of alignment enough that pins walk out just by lifting and curling the bucket. So weld pins in. Ignore that the whole thing started because of a lack of greasing joints which ate themselves a nice bearing meal making the bucket sloppy enough to let the pins get loose in the beginning enough to fall out. So much fun stuff that you just want to give a repeated high kinetic load slap on the back to the one that caused the mess in the first place.
Nice video and leave it to the Italians to make something look cool and fancy. Just the box alone, beautiful red, the color of Italian racing... Good luck with your new purchase, it was a nice video to watch! Thumbs up.
Straightening that arm, was right out of the bush mechanics manual. Whatever gets the job done. Absolute gold.
This is one of the best u tube channels out there
Thanks for not putting music over the work parts.. Love that
Randy standing there with he sledge hammer like he's ready to beat something into submission. 😂

An eighty thousand pound pry bar...you guys crack me up😅 I wish I could have worked with y'all.
Clint and Kevin, masters of cold blacksmithing. Big trees and chains are what i have to work with . That loader has big lift. Carry on. Thanks

Those are funny looking tracks @13:08😂
CLINT you can use Acetone and dry ice and it will drop the temp very nicely for bushings etc. It will drop the temp to -78C
Near zero advantage to dry ice. Maybe .002" shrink on a hundred degree day. And that .002 disappears in seconds.
