I honestly think the drums for Shadow of Intent are so understated. Like they sound so fluid and natural that you don't even notice how complex the fills are, all the little ghost notes, all the tiny variations between bars. It all just sits so naturally in the music, working perfectly in concert with the wider scope of the piece.
I discovered Bryce from doing covers of Shadow of Intent and now he’s in the band. It’s mind blowing to imagine how that experience has been for him and as a fan of the band I am excited to see the next album. I said it from the first time I heard The Migrant, it’s going to be Reclaimer 2.0 with better production. The drums in this play through sound amazing by the way and your playing is always awesome.

Man first time I saw Shadow of Intent live I was left flabbergasted on how Bryce was smiling just as he was doing his afternoon Walk (he was indeed blasting the most technical and heaviest shit I ever heard live)
I never heard of this band. This man has it all, technically complex rhythms, power, and groove. Not to mention his chops are so good and something you don't really see in death metal drumming these days. I can definitely sense a touch of Eric Moore out of his fills.
This dude is very creative and has characteristic sound. You can immediately tell who is playing when Bryce is on the drum seat. I think this is one of the most important aspect of musicianship.

I couldn't believe they wer not more recognized. When you're talented and true, in time things will happen...I think it's happening!
Slipknot has been overrated for years. So many better drummers than Joey with unique styles. Drummers get recognized by being in mainstream popular bands and that was Slipknot but yeah Bryce is too good for Slipknot.
