As a drummer I’ve heard this song for about thousands times over. I cannot comprehend how hard this is to play. So advanced drumming and timing and yet a good song to listen to. I cannot believe how perfect Garstkas slow drumming is also. To play that fast and also mastering the slow part with pauses is insanely good. Is nice to read other peoples comments about which their favorites parts is in this song. It’s fun to rewind and listen carefully for those fills. My favourite part is at 3.32. Like seriously if there were ever a demi-god, that's you Matt. The texture you're able to add is genuinely special to witness. Your drumming is what I imagine the musical equivalent of particle physicists discovering some ground breaking quality about fundamental particles and then stepping back to witness the planets move in a brilliant dance. There is a wealth of data to be had studying your every single beat, like they do in the LHC, and it makes it all the more rewarding when you step back and so how all of those individual tiny little components can all come together so harmoniously, with purpose, and HOT DAMN with precision. Thank you for another soundtrack for my thoughts to be able to move to.

Saw Animals at the Brooklyn Bowl in Philly a couple months back. It was practically a religious experience. Talented doesn't really cover how fantastic musicians these dudes are. So good they somehow made an instrumental tune into a sing along.

Edit bc now I looked at his IG. He deadlifted 405 last year and benched 250, you seriously think it takes roids to get those numbers? You’re an absolute weakling my guy. And at 33 years old…he’s not that old. Still should have plenty of test in his system to perform like that. Easy. 405 deadlift takes like 1-2 years from absolute beginner if you’re training properly.

Not only exceptional musicianship, but damn I love the song composition as well; it feels very organic/grooving and not overly progy / mathmathical / lacking heart. You might just have to grab a singer one day - I swear I could hear voices on this one. Well done.
