I did, and I'll be honest, they dropped the ball, big time. The Ilus story was dragged out beyond belief (it should've concluded within, say, 4 episodes), and the season ending scene should've been used to set up season 4, not push it off to S5, which ultimately made S4 feel very sparse. Compared to prior seasons, the character development was very thin, Avasarala is completely obnoxious now due to the constant swearing and aggression (which, while faithful to the books, doesn't work at all on screen, and is at odds to her in S1 and 2, where she was effective and likeable, witty, without being an unbearable potty mouth, and I say that as someone who swears a fair bit myself). I know that S4 was based off of the worst book, but the point of adaptations is to make it work on screen, that means making efficient use of the books and dropping what doesn't work (like a fucking character swearing 3 fucking times per fucking sentence, and that's not even an exaggeration). I couldn't care less about how much money The Expanse gets (with Amazon reducing the episodes, it was probably the same as other seasons), what matters is the writing, and that wasn't good enough this year.

They should have kept the line "...a flip I can't switch." It shows a quirk of not fully processing a rendered, imagination in Holden's head. Kind of like how in Season 3 when proto-miller is front of the mirror it took a moment for it to render a reflection from Holden's perspective add to the realism. It just shows that given the advanced nature of his projection the smallest amount of error gets through.
This kind of semi-death-state made it easier to accept, even if it is still hard. But Alex death was just crap. Seriously?! They shouldn't let him die.

Those two breathed new life into the show that was good already, but Camina Drummer and Klaes Ashford are great characters, I love both of them. I never thought Strathairn could be so great in a Science Fiction show, but he is awesome.

I know it's stupid, but having just finished watching this series, it's genuinely refreshing to be reminded that the cast were mostly having fun and not actually being subjected to the rather nasty stuff that happened to their characters.
What an amazing show and season. Can't wait for season 5. The Ilus scenes were so beautifully shot, it just looked amazing. It looked so good, it was better than most films, and better than any tv show i have watched to date. I loved how it flowed like one big movie; the next episode just follows on the scene from the previous episode. Amazon, give me a single 10 hour edit. Truly amazing, please keep every season like one big long movie.
While I was watching season 4, I saw Murtry forget his gloves and thought that was odd but then was like “maybe they were left there by another person?” Lol. Funny to see it recognized
2:38 Haha that sequence was great. Frankie is the best. I know a lot of people think she isn't the best fit for Draper but I think she's doing a great job. Sure she isn't ripped or 20 cm taller, she is close to the height, in good shape, and poly. A Polynesian Samus of sorts. She seems to have improved and grown into the role. Draper was also "very attractive" and Frankie is certainly that.
"And right now, that's a flip I can't switch" is actually a better line, ngl. It gives more of an impression that "Miller" isn't actually Miller, and is actually an alien entity who doesn't fully understand humans.
