I'm still taking Salaun at 7. It would really make me sick to the stomach if San Antonio took Castle at 4 then Salaun at 8.
Vassell, Castle, Sochan, Salaun, Wemby? That would end the western conference😂
I would take Edey @14 over trading up for Klingon
5:10 - 5:20
EDITING FAIL!!! Everyone point at Torey and laugh!
This is why I love yal man. We snagged a sleeper pick and added Deni. Joe…..you finally had a solid 24 hours
I want a video on 14th pick. Who should we take with that one? I'm thinking Zach Edey
Draft Kel'el at 14.. Cronin should try to get Buzelis is a higher priority
agreed, I really want Buzelis!
We should trade up to Houston using Brog and RW3 (plus maybe both 34 and 40 and salary cap matchups), who both played in Boston for Houston coach Udoka. Then, if Atlanta picks Clingan, we get whoever the Wizards do not select at 3. Presumably Saar, since his agents have let it be known he does not want to play the 5. Great we play him at the 4 next to De. Then at 7 we select Knecht and at 14 (if we did not trade it to Houston) we select from among the following: for Wings - Salaun, da Silva, Tyler Smith; for a Big - Edey or Ware. If we have not traded our 34 or 40 picks we can look at best player available at backup positions. We may have to move off of Tis and one other player (for future assets/draft picks) for roster size. And we avoid drafting Clingan, who screams: "injury waiting to happen."
"Ayton is 25, he's too old and really expensive. Time to trade DA and draft a rookie Center." -- the things we learn on Jacked Ramsey's podcast.
Did they really push that? They were hyping him up to be a star caliber piece and a great pickup before last season.
This is unrealistic as a Rip City fan ,but sounds like great fun. So, let's say Clingan fell to us at 7, and we then did what we had to (excluding Scoot and Shaeden)to somehow snag Markkanen. He plays SF. And if the man upstairs was already answering prayers, why not ask for Timelord to have his best year yet, injury free. PG - Scoot SG - Shaeden SF - Markkanen PF - Timelord(injury free) C - Clingan I am no way saying that this could be possible, monetarily or realistically. But it would give the fans an uplift, and an exciting team to watch. Portland has no football or baseball team. Professional team. The Trailblazer's is it for them. It would be interesting.
If he falls to 7 you can't blame portland for taking him. Trading up is crazy to me but I will always stand behind any of the guys we draft.
If we can manage to get buzilas and salaun that would be sick
I'm hoping the Blazers get Cody Williams. Good size, good attitude, and already showing good offensive skill. Cody would also fill a position of need.
He would be a backup big for us and insurances in 2 years when Ayton contract is up, but I’d prefer Ayton. I like Knecht. We need the 3 shooting from someone who can play the 3/backup 2. There are some other lengthy upside home run swings that will be available and I would not mind seeing that either, both over Clingan, even if he is available at 7.
no way. Altanta already decided to select Clingan at number 1 since Sarr refused to join Hawks
Caption is excellent bait
Red Auerbach would have drafted him, but would have traded up with a good package to get him.
Donovan Pryzbilla. If he had some offense he'd be more intriguing as a top pick.
I think the blazers board has at pick 7
A Donovan Clingan
B Dalton Kencht
C Tidjane Saluan/ Ron Holland
At pick 14
A Matas Buzelis
B Zach Edey
C Kel’el Ware
7 is pretty spot on

I see Dalton as a big 2 maybe skinny Mitch Ritchmond
I don’t see Dalton falling past detroit and Charlotte. He fits need and talent. He’s to polished to fall. No one talks about his foot work and body awareness. His prep work that happens before shooting is great. He doesn’t need the ball to get his body ready. His body is ready to shoot before he touches the ball. Feet legs torso everything’s prepped. No hop steps into shots. No downward gather of the ball for a shooting stroke. Just prep work catch fire.
Portland need a center if we have to move up so be it
Ayton is not part of the future. They need to rip the bandaid and rebuild around core of Scoot, Sharpe, Camara, Rupert. Use all draft picks on players who are PF AND C.
I hope we can trade up for sarr
NO
Pistons get him
No no no no
Spurs can take him. They need a good center coming of the bench.
Clingan is a 2nd rate Jusuf Nurkić at best, let him go. Edey at 14 is a steal and you could play him with Ayton and 3 guards.
