Thanks! I was painstakingly looking for more Animbot tutorials....particularly the Tween machine tool...then looks like I will watch more animation vids...found a gold mine!......much thanks man!
This is really great! Everyone tells you to use the addon but no-one tells beginner animators how :). Please do more of these on how to use that addon. Like to do a walk cycle or just bouncy ball
I'm glad this video helps! I'm trying to get out another one (and I really do try to focus on beginners and show everything I can) but it's been slow. It's hard to make the time when I CAN work on the videos happen at the same time I WANT to work on the videos LOL
i'd love to see more tips using Animbot. I just began using it, and loving it. But i'm still trying to make this tool as a part of my workflow. Wich is confusing me sometimes
animBot is such a great tool! It may be a while before I can put out more tips (for reasons you'll here about in my next vid) but I can give some advice. Pick one tool at a time and get comfortable with it. Then try another and so on. Also if you haven't already, join the animBot facebook group. Good luck!
I still get notifications on these old vids and reply when I can! I'm pretty sure I got that rig from AnimDojo, so I imagine you have to sub to them to be able to download it. Good luck!
Hi Hamdy, good question! I don't think there's a single answer for all situations here, but in general, I would start with the ending "key" pose for the jump. Then I would come back a little in the timeline, use Tweener in overshoot mode and start with the COG (usually hips). The spine I would likely adjust manually but it may be possible to use Tweener in a "layer" approach and go up the spine, head/ neck, and then arms. Hope that helps :)
