    Good info. I’ve lived with RA for 24 yrs. I notice the difference in frequency of my flare up when I don’t watch what I eat. It takes some discipline but the benefits (less pain and stiffness) outweigh the sacrifices.

    Hi dr im new to your channel, very good info, I was diagnosed recently with RA currently under flare dr started methotrexate weekly 6 pills, im a believer in Christ for healing, I believe will take this medication for a short period of time, and will receive wholesome healing through prayer and good discipline to follow strict diet.     Thank ypu Dra. Diana for the info regarding food to prevent arthritis. As for me it contradict of what you said like legumes or beans and some kinds of fishes wherein it is high in purine. Eating those i said it aggrevate pain in my arthritis.

      Legumes are difficult for some people to digest. If I have a gassy stomach, it causes me more pain. I absolutely can not eat anything with soy.

      I would recommend switching to plant based milks like almond milk. Dairy milk can cause inflammation

      I have RA and pains all over my body I eat eggs but doesn’t include the yellow ones it’s good for arthritis and my milk is plant based which is almond milk. My RA is a side effect of my chemotherapy.

    Some legumes like soybeans, and others are not suitable for me. Too much legumes and nuts are not suitable for me. Probably a small amount of nuts and legumes to eat but not everyday for me...although I love nuts and legumes.

    I have in my back that's causing joint pain now it's got to the point that I can't move if I lay it makes worse. The arthritis that I have is in my joints and it is painful.     The best fruit for RA is pineapple and best vegetables are kale and salery. Walnuts are also very good for RA. I am a Rehmiotide patient and telling with my experience.

      @@rheumatologistoncall yes . They prescribed some drugs but is still not let me go. Although one of them recommend regular exercise .
