The Hextech lab channel just uploaded a video explaining the interaction of the circles that appears with evolved briar and statik, he says its a bug but it feels intentional tbh.
I believe that briar has the big red circles when using frenzy because of the evolved chain lightning wepon i have also notecd them in my games as well. 16:00
It is just like the Briar in the normal game her ability gained aoe when activated and in swarm her e carry over on all her weapons which is broken and probably bugged
Briar is so much fun, Briar has (w/ 5x Ability Haste) ~12s CD on her E but when you go with Duration the E lasts 10-11s instead of 7, so you basically can E all the time which is so much fun to play!

I saw ioki beat aatrox with Briar with only level 25 of the anima squad upgrade, i don’t think shes the easiest to beat it with but definitely good compared to other choices Also its Maybe just clickbait/ ragebait
As long as you get Crossbow and uwu, you can easily win it. Just get Armor/Health to not get blasted. Then if possible any sort of damage upgrade from yuumi should work. 20% Nearby. MS is haste. Cross County is insane too. Crossbow with briar is insane because you can easily make sure all the arrows hit Aatrox. Thats how i did with Aurora too. Since when using E, aatrox doesnt attack. You can squeeze like 10 attacks with enough haste
I'd say the most op champ against aatrox extreme is xayah, just take crit chance + projectile count + ability haste with crit weapons , you'd be taking half of boss hp with just E. I finished already 3 champs in defeating aatrox (xayah, jinx, riven)🎉
Why do you not pick up the cards early? I know you need them for Evolutions but you only need a maximum of 5 and the powerspile early imo helps a lot on Expert difficulty.
It's not needed and the Yuumi augment gives +9% damage per card picked up if you get it. Only counts once you have the augment. My only concern is Aatrox, the rest is easy going
Yuumis quest can give an augment that gives 5% Damage per picked up card after you get the augment. This will give you around 200% damage if you didnt collect any before you got it
Briar has NO weapon requirements. You can pick whatever you want aslong as you upgrade her main weapon and go armor/hp/abillity haste/duration you are immortal and can afk facetank perma E aatrox extreme. You need some weapon to deal with bombs and frog in mid and lategame
Static sword and ice blast armor are the two core weapons, since static has the weird interaction with the sweeps and iceblast gives a lot of durability. As he mentioned in the vid, the other two weapons aren’t as important, though the uwu blaster is very good for the aatrox fight. I also saw a comment that bunny ballista is good, since you can stand directly on top of aatrox which apparently causes all the bolts to hit. As for the passives, he had the best ones: armor and health for durability and for your core weapon evos, and then just crit, damage, move speed and ability haste. Augments can be pretty much anything. If it gives damage, durability, or move speed you take it. The best ones are probably the ones that grant damage based on move speed or cards collected, and cross country is also insane with her ult and other move speed augments. The one that gives 100 ultimate haste is also very good.
Briar is so braindead, i did 50% damage on aatrox p2 before my 2 mates come in (used ult to reach him) without loosing hp... She is way too broken on this mode
farm map 2 on hard or extreme with riven ( depending on how good you are, extreme gives more gold) just run around the edge of the map, you can make 7k gold, when you lowroll, per run on hard.
Just play extreme and have fun , try to pick the gold card from yuumi and you will get rich eventually, I have around 300k excess gold after maxing anima by just playing normally
Hey Dax, I have found a new game that you enjoy a lot. It’s called bloody hell it’s basically rogue light almost like doom vibe and I think you should check it out.
The genre itself is rather simplistic but that is part of the appeal. You don’t need to learn complex metas or anything, you can farm tons of gold and learn how to walk around enemies and then you are good to go. Sure weapon choice matters but with some time you will learn what feels good and what doesn’t.

Without any yuumi augments briar is still S tier. Once you get enough anima power and basically have perma E it's so disgusting.

I personally love the bunny battle crossbow on brair, when shes ontop of the enemy all the bolts can hit the boss dealing 60k+ dmg per attack

The E ability reset because you had used your R and not because of your ability haste. It’s better to e then r then e again if needed.
i dont see some of the upgrades from unlike urs is there any reason for that
14:20 the difference is that it gives you a shield (more armor more shield I think?) that triggers the ability of freezing again when it expires.
15:40 it's the upgraded statik that causes those circles on the mobs
It's not just the upgraded shiv. It's the upgraded shiv while briar e is up
the ice armor just activates twice while evolved is really good.

if you max duration and ability haste, you get a frienzy duration of 10 seconds and a cooldown of 11.5, only with stats

The red circle is because of the Static Sword, thats the reason I always go for Static Sword every time I play Briar

That red circle is either from the evolved basic ability, when used e, or from the evolved statik shiv when used e, I think.

did all 9, briar was by FAR the easiest, its so easy with her that im confident i could boost 3 people on extreme

My main 3 passives are Health, Ability haste and duration. when you get that haste and duration your E almost no cooldown. you are just spamming E

Metabolic is actually insane you heal of xp balls you can never die period
radient field axtually evolved explodes enemies, so static shiv goes great with it.

bcs there is a upgrade from the yuumi quest that says: u get 5% bonus damage for every card u pickup, and that only works for cards picked up after it
these "bleeding effects" you talk about, only happens if you have stattics as weapon, activate ur e - and both maxed out

Nope. I was able to kill aatrox in extreme dificulty without any anima power, briar is just really strong.

what's the point of having 4 augment slots when we can only get up to 3 maximum augments in 1 game?
you can get 4 yuumi augmentts only witth 4 peoples in the team, but to get the 4th you need everyone to stand on in the moment it spawns
from my experience more people actually makes the game much more harder 😅

u can only evolve using access cards so he waits till he has a lvl 5 weapon
you can beat aatrox with most characters with just 0-10 anima power, some characters need a bit more help though… cough cough aurora
