As an American, you wouldn't appreciate the destruction of property, right? That's what he essentially did with the camera of that woman, plus multiple eye witnesses have said he was extremely aggressive. He even made a statement earlier that he only threatened her with his fist, which he later redacted.

As a child he told his parents that he will be on the Eurovision stage one day. Then his parents died but he still kept on working hard to get to Eurovision. And after all this hardwork he finally gets the chance to be on Eurovision but then his chance was ruined by a rude reporter and got he disqualified..
It was not what he expected,but still he made it to that stage…I hope he is keeping that in mind❤️
His rude and aggressive bullying of another contestant was probably the tip of the ice berg of misbehavior. Basic manners would have kept the Netherlands in the contest.

@@Pippie5555But the filmingrules of the EBU? Shouldn't they be respected as well? It was a no filming zone. After repeatingly asking not to film him at that point, they still did that anyway. He got angry but never touched anyone, just made a gesture to the camera. The camerawoman is crying wolf, and the punishment is way out of proportion, since he was provoked by her several times. Rules and respect go both ways! The camerawoman should get fired for ignoring his request repeatingly, and blowing up his (and his countries) dream to be on the stage. It's ridiculous, and this won't be the end of it.
My son (6 years old) knows this song by heart. He was looking forward to the final performance and cried a lot when he found out that the Netherlands had been disqualified. Unfair punishment!

You do realise that lots of those people (including me) came here to listen to the song that they didn't hear in the to grand finals tho? :P The fact that it has more views here doesn't make it better or anything (aside from the fact that eurovision is not a place where best songs win, whatever "best" would mean in this case cuz it's kinda impossible to judge that properly.

I'd give him a people's heart award (the euro would then have two ways to win, judges and voting for normal prizes and the people's heart given a week after the event to the act most favored by the public that didn't win on the finals night throughout the year in question with all acts).

@@nextlevel5827 he was disqualified because he was being harassed by a woman who kept filming him despite telling her multiple times to stop filming, and then he got mad or something and shoved the camera away, and he was accused of showing violence and aggression which is what got him disqualified

@@evaaa3187the camerawoman basically did her job opposite (recording even when they agreed to not film when in the backstage) the guy asked nicely to stop the film and he just pushed the camera away and the woman filed a contact and even a police contact. The man was disqualified that day, kinda like the self defense kid just got punished because he was defend himself but i agree what does a teacher have to do with this?
