Can the COVID vaccine trigger Graves' disease which triggers thyroid eye disease?

  • I've been thinking about this a lot lately. I'm hoping I'll stop thinking about this so much after putting out the video. Whether I got this by the vaccine or not doesn't really matter. I got TED and I'll have it the rest of my life. I guess I'm just angry about the situation and feel like ranting and raving a bit more. What I say makes complete sense to me. Let me know what I got wrong. Thanks!!

This is what my Endo explained to me. The spike protein in the mRNA vaccine caused the antibodies in my body to attack the protein which then attacked my Thyroid tissue and the tissue in my eyes. 12 hours after the Vax, I went into a Thyroid Storm and was hospitalized. I had never had any thyroid issues and no one in my family does either. I was then diagnosed with Graves Disease and Severe Thyroid Eye Disease. I've been battling these diseases for almost 2 years now. The government is shameful for not helping any of us with our medical care or expenses.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm really sorry this happened to you. It's so frustrating. That storm sounds terrible. And I agree with your comment concerning the lack of help. I'm at the point now where the insurance company is denying treatment. I'm gonna need to pay out of pocket, it's crazy. I will fight it. Did your Endo say anything about seeing more cases of Graves/TED in 2021? I've had a few other people say that their Endo commented that the rate was up in 2021.

@@rickburns4572 my Endo started having a lot of new patients just after the second Vax came out. My Ocular Plastic Surgeon had 8 patients that presented exactly what happened to me or similar to the same event within the first 6 months of me seeing her. I am so sorry this has happened to you too. Yes, my insurance is crap also. I'm so sorry you too are in the same vicious cycle of trying to get help and assistance. I contacted NORD (National Organization for Rare Diseases) and they accepted me into an Assistance Fund program to help pay for my monthly health insurance premium but there is no additional assistance with medical bills. It's not much but it helps.

I’m so glad I’m not the only one who questioned the timing of my TED onset. I was given a choice to get the jab and a booster or lose my job. Big choice. I got the first one in April 21 and had no reaction. 2nd was November 21 and booster was March 22. I had every measurable side effect with those two. A month later I started with double vision and within 4 months of that had a diagnosis of the Hashimotos TED with severe double vision (my eye is fixed down so far you can only see half the pupil) and proptosis. I have no familial history of thyroid issues going back 2 generations on both sides of my family. The twist for me (aside from me having the Hashimoto’s antibody rather than the Graves) is that it’s completely thyroid sparing. There’s nothing that will make me believe this is all coincidental.

I got Graves and TED after I had a monoclonal body infusion for COVID treatment. I never had any health issues before that. I think you are absolutely correct in connecting these things. I've been having the same suspicion all along.

Yes 2 weeks after covid booster...TED appeared out of the blue with no family history of graves or any medical problems. BTW, "GO" in the article is Graves Opthalmopathy" which is just another name for TED.

I was told by my doctor that I had to get jabbed because of heart failure. Right after my second jab I developed Graves disease. Thank you for this. Like you, I just thought it was coincidental. In canada, the medical community is so concerned with covering their ass, they aren't doing anything about it.

Hi Sir, My name is Teresa. I am 58 and was diagnosed with GD at 57. I did not take the vaccine. I was diagnosed with GD in 2022 November. My symptoms started in July 2022. I have been diagnosed with TED in March 2023. My eye started getting bigger in June 2023. You are spot on. Think about it, they developed Tepezza over the past 2 or 3 years. How did they know it would be in such high demand? You are a smart man. I was in the service. I knew the entire C 1 9 was propaganda immediately. All of the major corporations having pre-made commercials stating, "We are in this together." They did the same thing we do to the countries we invade for regime change wars. Psychological Operations. Never! Trust them again. I am so sorry you are going through this agony. My journey with this has been over the past 9 months. One eye bigger than the other, one that doesn't move with the other. Such a pain in the eye! God Bless you for having a sound mind and the ability to see the truth. I believe my GD was induced by all of the vaccines we took in service. No more!

Me too. After my second dose of covid vaccine i start having symptoms, but didnt think it was the vaccine so i went and got the booster vaccine. 3 weeks after i start suffering with TED. im told i have graves disease and TED which was more than likely triggered by the vaccine. No family history and never had covid and was perfectly fine before the vaccine.

That stinks. I’m sorry this happened to you. Who told you that Graves and Ted were triggered by the vaccine? None of my doctors would say anything like that even though I’m sure that’s what it was. They seem to be afraid. I’m glad some people are telling the truth.

@@rickburns4572 You're right Rick, most doctors won't speak against the vaccine. I read where around 95% of them actually took the jab. My brother is in a mentally ill group home where they mandated everyone get the shot. After the shots he started losing weight, but I never suspected Graves disease at that time, because his whole life he has had an under active thyroid and takes medication for it. He also started having chest pain which continues to this day, along with numbness in the feet, red splotches under the skin on his hands, and irritability. A couple of days ago I got him a new doctor who thinks his unexplained weigh loss is due to an overactive thyroid, after ruling out diabetes. My brother also has eye problems. One of his eyes are bulging and points a little to the left. Fortunately we have access to all this information on the internet and I immediately found out that thyroid eye disease can sometimes only bulge one eye. We live in Oklahoma where the low IQ government passed a law allowing optometrists to do eye surgeries. I took him in for cataract surgery and the incompetent optometrist didn't even know about Grave's eye disease. He said my brothers bulging eye that is offset was caused by trauma and he probably hit himself in the eye. Before he planned to do the cataract surgery, he gave him pressure lowering drops saying with the bulge he obviously has high pressure in the eye, without even testing his eye pressure, which caused his eye to cave in and bleed due to too low of a pressure. Due to the blood they couldn't see inside his eye, so they referred him to what is suppose to be a retina specialist in Tulsa, but it was just another optometrist who did an ocular sonar and said he now has a detached retina. Anyway, I'm rushing him to Baylor in Dallas or Mercy Eye in Missouri on Monday to have an opthalmologist do a retinal reattachment before it's too late. I'm not saying all doctors are low IQ, but we have a bunch of them in Oklahoma. Had I known my sister scheduled cataract surgery for my brother with an optometrist, I would have never taken him there. It was only after the appointment that I learned he was just an optometrist.

Including myself, I know of 3 people that had new or vastly worsening TED symptoms shortly after getting the Covid Vaccine. Can I prove it was related to the vaccine, no... So we are potentially "silent" victims" that our government does not seem to notice.
It makes me sick to hear any medical professional say the Covid Vaccine is safe for everyone...
Last year I made what I consider the single worst mistake of my life, I decided to get the Covid vaccine and my health has been suffering ever since..
I suffered new eye problems and worsening thyroid problems starting about 9 days after getting the first set of shots. I was assured by many doctors that the vaccine did not cause the problems. In December I received the booster and 9 days later my thyroid problems got much worse and I started going blind. I have since had my thyroid removed and had 10 doses of radiation behind my eyes to save my sight.
    I absolutely hate the CDC.....

Have your thyroid gland scanned, in my case they found something. Removed whole thyroid and radioactive treatment and helped my TED. My TED started last January 2022.

We did that early on. A Couple times. The thyroid looks fine. My thyroid levels have been steady and in the expected range.
