Sakura herself is a nerf. She's a character that got "buffed" and is still useless. Her resume is simply trained by Tsunade: The Legendary Sannin. Her biggest achievement would be to find a successor to pass the knowledge and training onto in 2 episodes and then fade away into the background.

You can tell that Sakura saved Sasuke. From the way he gently reaches for her hand and looks into her eyes shows , then the ring he made smoothly slid on her finger.😩🤧 You can just tell how much he loves her and how grateful he is to her.

Dudes been so emotionally dead and closed off for so long that he literally forgot how to socialize and express his feelings. He's gotten better but he's still detached from everyone and is focused on what he's gotta do. I like these moments where he shares connections with others, he's always cared about her. He could just never get too close because of all that he's been through. Sasuke reminds me of a war torn Vet with PTSD. He cried and suffered so his family could smile and laugh.
It really convenient that the entire SS fandom likes to portray and think of Sasuke and this emotionally dead/ dense PTSD suffering VET that never healed just to explain away why he never shows affection or love for Sakura when the simple truth is that He DIDNT care about Sakura, according to him himself, Kishimoto, VAs, the Series etc. He must certainly has suffered and feels the effects of his past and has trauma, but it never caused him to unaware of his feelings or emotionally stunted, he just became quieter and more reserved, there a difference between being Stoic and Fricken SAI! In this one they changed them to jiji eavesdropping them instead of attempting to flirt with her and tell Sasuke to give her a ring so that no one would flirt with her instead.

They changed that scene where Jiji was about to hold Sakura’s hair and Sasuke jumped in and snagged his hand and said “THIS DOCTOR IS MY WIFE,” and that’s how he learned they were married, not this eavesdropping BS. Also the scene how Sakura rescued Sasuke and he was even convincing himself she can’t be there and was just imagining it was her, Sakura learned sensory techniques and scanned the whole place for the secret places. Plus it was Sakura who realized the cards are tailed beasts!
The whole novel runs on Sasuke’s thoughts during conversations and we get to learn that despite being a silent guy, his mind is LOUD and honest with himself; but we barely heard anything about his thoughts in the episodes! Not to mention the drawing! It looks too far from Kishimoto’s illustrations! 😤

P.S. Sorry for the long rant. I am terribly angry and disappointed at Studio Perriot since Part 1 and I’ve had enough of this BS they’re giving Sasuke and Sakura. I’ve read the novel and it was 1000x amazing and 1000x heartwarming than what we are given in this anime adaptation.

THEY'RE AMAZING. Sakura is the most important woman inside Konoha and Sasuke is the most important man outside Konoha but they really love each other so dearly, they have been there for each other since they were genin and Sakura always wanted to help Sasuke get free form the darkness that haunted him. Kishimoto was right in his databook "The one that filled his lonely existence was Sakura. But he cannot let her in". The angst, the love. He doesn't want to leave her but if he doesn't save Konoha and alerts them of threats from outside, his precious family would be in danger, the family he got with Sakura. Not your average vanilla boring ship but a real shounen ship is what sasusaku looks like, from comrades to enemies to lovers. Their journey is beautiful and so misunderstood, but they will always be iconic and popular.

I love how...we don't get much of Sasuke's face until they were facing each other in that moment. Looking happy as he molded the ring. He sounded a bit emotional when he said "wear that" while turning around. He's expressing himself plenty in this moment. Non-tan out did this moment with his voice acting. Sasuke sounded insecure with the pauses and softness. Everything about this scene screams romantic and Sasuke being open with Sakura.
Yeah! You can really hear and feel all the emotion in his voice. Superb voice acting. 👏 Along sith Chie-san. That "Thank you" was so heart-warming.💖

It's really a great way to show how even though Sasuke bears so many scars mentally, emotionally, and physically and has great difficulty in expressing himself- he, in the only way he knows how is telling Sakura that he truly truly loves her and that the gift of a ring is the daily, visual reminder of that love that he knows that she needs. I like that he used the form of a question to state what he already had figured out, in order to give her an opening to share her true feelings. It certainly demonstrated that he recognizes that it bothers his wife that he is gone a lot, but he wants to defer to her emotions and not force the issue. Thankfully Sakura doesn't stay quiet and takes advantage of the opportunity to have a heart-to-heart moment, and it pays off for both of them. Sasuke and Sakura have built their relationship and their marriage on mutual respect and a deep love that could be argued was there from the very early days. So for the two of them, a ring carries even more weight - publicly as being a symbol of the bond that they share and privately as a constant reminder to Sakura that her husband truly does value her and is always with her, even when he is away. Its a great commentary on how seemingly trivial so many people's relationships and marriages seem in our current culture today with just a bunch of forgettable dates and the expectation of a 2 carat diamond when you've only known each other maybe a year.
