@@lr9495 I still like obito, I hate him for what he did To Naruto’s mother and father. He took the only thing he had, away from him. Causing him to grow up having no one to like him, and always reject him, and for him to be lonely. Until he met Kakashi, and that’s when everything started getting better for Naruto. It’s still so sad how he grew up. But obito also lost hope and was broken after he lost Rin.

Edit: I just realized he didn't actually start saying "believe it!" again in Shippuden, he started saying what his mother was saying "You know!".
@@blmingwlf7142 what "dattebayo" translates to dub is up to the translator, it has been "believe it", "y'know", etc. It doesn't actually any meaning to the sentence, as Kushina herself addresses it as a "weird" way of talking. Another example might be Boruto's "dattebasa" and Konohamaru's "kore"

The hostage scenario is the hardest dilemma in the entire series. It's kind of the philosophical cornerstone to a lot of the shinobi back stories
It’s really so unfortunate that we all didn’t get a prequel to Naruto, it would have been so much better, there were so many characters in Naruto and it seems logical to show their stories also. I wish we could have got Minato: Naruto Previous Generaions. They could have shown so many things like Minato and Kushina’s childhood, exploring the characters of Fugaku and Mikoto Uchiha, Jiraiya’s bond with Minato and Kushina, Kakashi’s childhood, Sakumo Hatake, some more of Team Minato missions and the Third Ninja War..etc etc. We could have seen so much more.
Or Minato to Naruto, that may work too like with Naruto to Boruto, and Minato: Naruto First Generations isn't a bad idea too.

It sure would have deeped the Naruto universe
The point is that feels like a downgrade. It surely could have been like an arc or a season of 50 episodes or so but not a whole anime like Boruto is. And thats because as it's said the next generations will be more advanced and more flashy than the previous ones. So by watching the whole Naruto generation it would feel a bit more boring to watch the previous one as they werent that advanced in general. As you can see now Boruto is even more advanced than Naruto. All of these karma, new dojutsu, aliens etc. But yeah they could have really created a season of past generations
No wonder I find Minato so cool. His looks is almost like Cloud Strife, but with a more likeable, and gentle personality.

At first, I read it on the manga version which was cool, but to be honest, this animated version is far more cooler than the manga. Minato is a guy that when he has the moment, he's not let that slip away. Such a badass of character.

1:54 I know Minato's reasoning for never stepping in when she got picked on was like- a respect thing, in his mind- ('You're strong in mind and body, you don't need my help winning fights') but I think he might've missed the point a little. Kushina didn't want him to help because she needed somebody to protect her, she wanted it because she felt like nobody ever had her back. Of course she thinks he considers her an outsider too- she got attacked by a much older kid for things that weren't her fault, and as far as she can tell, all Minato did was stand there and watch.
Like even if she didn't do anything wrong, he didn't consider her worth helping.

I know this comment is late, but I have to agree with you, much as I adore Minakushi. He misinterpreted that she might not want help to prove her strength, but she even though she was could stand for herself, she must have felt really lonely. Even strong people need help sometimes. I like to think that was only the setup for their connection, they became friends after this and eventually understood each-other better, and ended up becoming lovers later :)
