It's exhausting watching you work so hard Warren. Your memory is just fine, when you consider how many open job tickets you have going on all at once, it's amazing you even remember your name. I appreciate your videos and I enjoy seeing the different machines you have rolling through the shop and out on the service calls. It's been quite a number of years since I've worked on any big machines, but there are a few machines here on the farm that need attention from time to time, skid steer, diesel drive wood chipper, backhoe, D6, and coffee machines. It's all wrenching. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and videos.

Hello there warran. A farmer friend of mine has a old JD 3130. He loves the thing. It came with no cab so the dealership put one on it and it has the gear shifters on the top of the gearbox. It been trouble free and is well maintained. It's used every day. He bought a New Holland tractor and it's 9 months old and has had 8 different problems with it so far.

always check the hilo and pto plates when you get inside . also check top shaft end float , worn circlip inside rear bearing is common and check the ball in the side of tow cup ,they fall out and lube will be low.

There is a gasket kit for the Mannheim tractors that gives you everything for the middle AL57975.I was always under the impression that the set screws were offset in the shaft so you could tighten one in farther then the other to move the fork frontward or backwards. I like Mannheim JDs as long as they don’t dump Walmart oil in them haha.

Nice to see a video that is not all electronics based diagnosis, being simple minded I can relate to things that go round and round and back and to easier than I can relate to a computer !

    • @CrimeVid

@matty d That is a screaming load of bollocks, most electronically controlled devices don’t do a job any better than those that weren’t, and anybody that stays with devices that are not because it suits them or because they like them, does not need to hear from the electronically minded, whining on about the microchip gods. I give the creator a nod because I like his video and why, and I get some smug nitwit telling me I’m wrong Phooey !

Hi Warren, We have watched your videos for years, always looking for them soon as loaded, your latest videos are very good the quality is excellent 2950 I really enjoyed. Where is Duke love old Daisey and the new ones, you give a great deal of pleasure to many viewers who look forward to every one of your postings, do not take any notice of any smart arses that want to spoil your videos they are wankers that would do if they could do.
Sound is better than it was, when your camera is at a distance the sound fades even when no engine noise is present, but never mind we just crank up the volume and it comes back when you readjust and come closer, I really appreciate the amount of time it must take you to produce these vidioes when at times you cant be fkn bothered after a hard days work carry on buddy you have many watchers really interested in what you have to do to earn a living.
    Cheers,

That is the storage position for the other PTO shaft. These tractors have a 540 RPM PTO shaft and also a 1000 RPM PTO shaft. It looks like that is the 1000 RPM PTO shaft in the storage position. Shaft's are held in position with a snap ring. The inside ends of those stub shaft's have different spline's on them that different gear's inside drive to spin the shaft's at the two different speeds.
