Half an hour to an hour is great, but you should do whatever is comfortable for you. I love your multiple episode projects; especially the detailed commentary that gives us a sense of your decision making. Best mechanic channel on TH-cam.

Longer than 30 minutes would be my preference but the bottom line is that you should do whatever works best for you, I just appreciate you taking the time and effort to take us along with you. Thanks again Warren. Great work and great videos!

Love it when you said, "I'm sure I'll have my fair share on critics on this, it's my first one I have ever done. We'll figure it out, we always do". You are a great heavy vehicle and heavy plant mechanic, I love watching you repair, rebuild and find & fix the cause of the problem. Keep the video's coming.

The longer the video the better. I've learned 3x as much watching your videos over the last 2 years, as I have from anywhere else. Beyond these videos being entertainment for some, they're also really educational for others as myself, in which case the longer the better because we can see more detailed processes rather than the overview. Thank you for all the work you put into this, its greatly appreciated. Btw, shirts for us big boys would be awesome, would definitely pay extra for one 👍

    Hi Warren,
I love your videos all the time. My idea is I will watch them either short or long. There awesome videos.
I feel bad that you work so long hours and whatever is easier for you is the way to go. I agree that longer would be better for us and your clients if they want to be backed up. I feel some clients have no idea how hard things are to do with such rusted out bolts or how many pieces you need to break loose to get to the right part to be fixed.
Keep up the great work and I hope you will be able to take a well deserved vacation!!!!

While I don't have a strong opinion one way or another, I most definitely prefer longer videos as opposed to shorter ones ... especially considering the things you cover. The amount of work that you do simply cannot be condensed into a 5 to 10 minute clip.
You started this to help other people learn from your experiences ... and it works. I would say keep doing it to the length that makes you feel like you have done justice to the subject.
I am particularly happy to hear that doing the TH-cam videos has turned into a business for you that is helping drive the welding, fabrication, and repair business.
You put out very good content. Don't stop.
You are one of the hardest working individuals I have ever seen pick up a wrench.

I personally prefer the longer ones and I think that 30fps is fine, I’d keep 60fps for videos involving more intricate jobs plus high days and holidays. I try to save stuff as well.

Lots of folks look up TH-cam video's to get a quick fix for their problem. I appreciate that you're more in the business of showing folks the whole process, including the commentary. I never cussed until I started working on cars and spent more time looking for misplaced tools and bolts than actually working until I got smart about it. You show people that part. Keep em as long as you need to. Tell us how it is.

Keep going exactly the way you are. As you mentioned the ones who want to skip ahead can do just that. For those of us and I'm sure we're the majority, we enjoy watching and admiring the work that goes into each of your videos. The fact that each one is different makes it that much more interesting, especially for us who don't or have never experienced this type of work. While having been a "car nut" all my life and having worked on them (cars only), there is still something fascinating about heavy equipment and in all the out of the norm type work you do. Keep it up just the way you have been. Just my opinion. And for what it's worth, this is one of the most interesting channels on TH-cam to me. BTW, I always hated those freakin exhaust manifold bolts. They were something relatively simple that in an instant could (and did at times) turn into a day long nightmare.

  • @brandonchambers1448

Make then longer. You make these videos for not only yourself, but also as sort of an instructional video. For those who want to learn and work on the type of stuff you do. Don't push yourself, sometimes you got to take a break and only do a short one. But I personally love the longer ones for the details and being able to walk through with you on whatever it is you're doing. Thank you for the Videos Warren, keep them up! Your doing a great job!

Warren I really like the longer videos. Longer than 30 minutes. I'd rather have the choice to watch the whole video than having to watch a pt1 pt2 etc. I like seeing the project start to finish no matter what the length. I can pause and come back if I need to stop watching. Also really like when you're working on heavy equipment. Really enjoy the work you do and the effort you put in to these videos!

      I second the stories too.
There's something about watchin' him work, learning, and listen' to a great story that really makes time fly.
